Dr Stone Season 3 Part 2 Episode 3 Preview: Dr Stone (ドクターストーン) is an animation series based on the manga of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by the South Korean artist Boichi. After a blinding green light strikes the Earth and petrifies mankind around the world—turning every single human into stone, humanity goes back in time. Years of civilisation have disappeared, and the only hope to rebuild it is in the hands of a brilliant scientist, Senku.
The opening theme is Haruka (遥か) performed by Ryujin Kiyoshi while the ending theme is Suki ni Shinayo (好きにしなよ) performed by Anly for Dr Stone New World Cour 2. From studios of TMS Entertainment, the show is produced by TOHO Animation, Shueisha and 8PAN. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

Dr Stone: New World Part 2 will cover the “New World” arc from the manga series. The story continues to follow Senku, who manages to create the Nitric acid again with the help of platinum. The acid is the only way to free the world from the stone age. However, during his journey, he also finds out the source of the green light that is responsible for the petrification. Will Senku be able to save the world with the help of science?

The main character of the story is Senku, a brilliant scientist. Citizens of the Kingdom of Science include Kohaku, Chrome, Kinro, Ginro, Suika, Gen Asagiri, Kaseki, Magma, and more. Senku’s old friends Taiju Oki and Yuzuriha Ogawa have also joined the cast. Characters from Empire of Might include Tsukasa, Ukyo Saionji, Minami Hokutozai, Yo Uei and more. Ryusui Nanami is the latest addition to the team, who is an expert sailor.

In the previous episode, Kaseki is freed from his stone form and everyone in the Science Kingdom rejoices. However, on the other hand, Moz overhears Kohaku and Ginro talking about finding out the identity of the head of the clan. Ginro walks inside the emperor’s room and finds Ibara in the room instead. However, he manages to find out the head’s identity who is nothing but a stone as a result of the perification. Ibara follows him to kill him because he now knows the secret.
Meanwhile, Kohaku fights Moz and the soldiers of the other kingdom. However, Ginro is stabbed in the back by Ibara and she rushes to save him. Since it is too late, she causes a commotion and gets herself and Ginro petrified so that he is saved from dying.
