American Horror Story Delicate Episode 3 Ending Explained: Now that the third episode of AHS Season 12 has dropped there is a lot of buzz surrounding the ending. Especially if Anna’s baby is dead or alive and how does she know either? Well, we are here to clarify your doubts about the ending.
American Horror Story Delicate is based on Danielle Valentine’s book Delicate Condition. The series is created by AHS’ very own Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. 20th Century Fox Television produces it for FX on Hulu. The latest episode is titled ‘When the Bough Breaks’ and is directed by Jennifer Lynch with writer Halley Feiffer. The runtime for the episode is 38 minutes.
The cast for the series includes old faces and new ones too. Emma Roberts is an oldie in the AHS universe who is loved by everyone and is set to headline this season. We also have Billie Lourd, Denis O’Hare and Leslie Grossman as cast members. This season’s notable newcomers include Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne, Matt Czuchry and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. The recurring cast members are Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Odessa A’zion, Julie White, Debra Monk, Dominic Burgess, and Zachary Quinto.

American Horror Story Delicate Episode 3 Ending Explained
At the end of American Horror Story Episode 3, we see Anna wake up in the basement when she feels something move in her stomach. This happens after she experiences the entire tying up of hands by people and the corridor filled with tiny babies in bottles. When she wakes up though, the door that led to her experiencing the above is locked. She rushes out of the basement but the door is locked and thus, ends up banging on it which is when Dex opens the door.
Anna expresses to Dex that she felt the baby move inside her. However, Dex does not believe Anna and attributes her feelings to the difficult time she is having dealing with the miscarriage. Anna then ends up calling Dr. Hill the next to ask if the miscarriage diagnosis could be wrong. However, the doctor says it is unlikely and states the reason for her miscarriage report. However, after the call when Nicolette comes to Anna to inform her something, she notices there is blood in Anna’s mouth and then informs the latter about the same. Anna checks her bleeding gums and looks it up on the internet and finds it to be early symptoms of pregnancy.
Thereafter, Anna ends up in a pharmacy shop, shopping for her baby where she experiences weird things. Although Anna does not find what she is looking for the lady clerk at the store touches her stomach and says that she can feel the baby kick. This reassures Anna’s assumptions.

American Horror Story Episode 3 ends with Anna travelling back home from the store when she sees Dex with Sonia, heading somewhere. It unnerves her. More so because it is followed by Preecher knocking on her car window. However, Kamal goes to chase her but, finds no one.
Ultimately Anna starts believing in the things happening around her. She changes the password to her phone and uses the first method she ever realized that was used to communicate with her- setting appointments on her calendar. She sets an appointment titled ‘What Do You Want?’, to which the response on the calendar comes ‘I Want to Warn You’.
The crux of the conversation is Anna getting to know through the calendar conversation that her baby is alive and something has been done to it. While Anna texts, sitting outside on the terrace, we see Nicolette watching her from afar.
