American Horror Story Delicate Episode 2 Ending Explained: The latest episode of the series is titled ‘Rockabye’ and is directed by Jennifer Lynch with writer Halley Feiffer. The show is based on Danielle Valentine’s book Delicate Condition. The series is created by AHS’ very own Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. 20th Century Fox Television produces it for FX on Hulu.
The cast for the series includes old faces and new ones too. Emma Roberts is an oldie in the AHS universe who is loved by everyone and is set to headline this season. We also have Billie Lourd, Denis O’Hare and Leslie Grossman as cast members. This season’s notable newcomers include Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne, Matt Czuchry and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. The recurring cast members are Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Odessa A’zion, Julie White, Debra Monk, Dominic Burgess, and Zachary Quinto.
American Horror Story Delicate Episode 2 Ending Explained
Towards the end of American Horror Story Delicate Episode 2, we see Anna turn from her yoga class to Talia’s isolated home. However while on the way, Anna is overcome by tremendous pain. We see that she has started bleeding while in the car. Her driver notices this and rushes her to a hospital.
In the hospital, Anna is lying on the chair for examination when a nurse enters the scene. She introduces herself as Ivy (Cara Delevingne), who has just moved to the hospital from Toronto when Anna insists that she looks familiar. Nurse Ivy sheds off Anna’s questions and proceeds to do an ultrasound on her with permission. It is a rather strange one as she uses a transvaginal ultrasound machine to examine Anna. This means she puts the ultrasound end inside the vagina of the patient to check her uterus.
Nurse Ivy does not tell Anna what she sees when the latter asks her. But after a quick examination, she takes out the machine which is covered in blood and informs Anna that she is going to get a doctor. Anna, helplessly, goes to the washroom. Her bleeding continues and she sits on the floor and starts crying.

We see Anna wake up once again and this time we have Dex, a doctor and a different nurse present in the scene. Dex apologizes for not coming sooner. Anna suggests that she has lost the baby possibly, which is what the doctor agrees with. The doctor says that it is possible genetic abnormality when a miscarriage happens and it is not Anna’s fault. On asking the doctor what the sex of the child was, he confirmed the finding of a Y chromosome in the bloodstream hinting towards a male child.
However, the real twist of American Horror Story Delicate Episode 2 comes when Anna asks about Nurse Ivy. To her shock and surprise, the doctor says that it is a small community hospital and there is no one called Nurse Ivy in the hospital.
