While the artist had already released a version of this album before, the following Jack in the Box Hope Edition concept photos confirm that a new version will be coming soon. So far, it looks aesthetically different from the first edition. Perhaps the block colours and the sharp looks that have featured in these photos confirm that there will be some sizable differences this time. The original version came out around this time last year, with a huge documentary to follow that eventful release.
In the pictures, we start by seeing BTS’ J-Hope artist in all white, with a white winter cap as well. He stares at the camera, standing against a bright blue box background. On the right, his all-black clad outfit makes an appearance. Leaning against the wall of the box, he stares up at the white figure. Taking the prompt literally, the images all put him in some kind of box. However, as all the fans know, this whole thing is a spin and ironic take on the kind of music he made for this album.
While the images box him in crates and frames of various styles, the music clearly expresses that he was more than that. The following is a cheeky wink at that idea. Even his expression in the pictures elicits a similar response. While others may have subjected him to a metaphorical box, J-Hope was ready to use this box to break free of all the other stereotypes. With this new version, he confirms that he plans to blow up that box even more. Check out the images to see what he has planned for the fandom this time.
Jack in the Box Hope Edition Concept Photos
J-Hope is part of one of the most popular Korean Pop bands, BTS. Originally debuting in 2010, these seven members, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, started their careers together, producing and writing most of their music. While the group just celebrated their 10th anniversary with a commemorative song titled Take Two, they are currently on an indefinite hiatus. Given that, two members, including J-Hope, are currently in mandatory military enlistment. Other members of the band have taken their time to explore solo music.
Jack in the Box Hope Edition will release on Spotify and music streaming platforms on August 18, 2023, at 01:00 PM KST, 12:00 AM ET and 09:30 AM IST. Jack in the Box is currently streaming on Spotify and other music streaming platforms.
