BTS’ Jungkook kicked off his solo debut with the groovy single he just released, and all the listeners cannot stop gushing at the Seven MV reactions. This is the artist’s first official single outside of the band’s work. However, he is not alone on this track. The artist, Latto, is also featured on the track. She raps into the picture by the end of the second verse. While official sources had confirmed that this would be a refreshing song for the summer, they failed to mention that the track was incredibly sensual.
As listeners of the explicit version would agree, the music video version gave us the vibe of the song and the amazing performance by Han So-hee, but the former made the song pop. It made all the little innuendos from the video version solid. The song is incredibly peppy, and the simp nature that Jungkook has adopted for this song is working too well for him because some of these reactions have shared just how amazingly he has started off his debut.

The video shows him and So-hee figuring out this push-and-pull relationship. He sings about making sure that he wakes up in an afterglow every morning. The visuals give a very specific aesthetic, the sepia tones from the teaser coming in. With every day of the week, we are taken through different situations where all the male protagonist wants to do is convince her that he would be good enough for her and will keep her happy.
Along with the music video, the artist was also expected to perform at Good Morning America’s GMA Summer Concert Series Live from Central Park. According to sources, he will be the first solo Korean Pop artist to perform in this concert series. However, he will be joined by some big headliners, including Hozier, Tim McGraw and even Carly Rae Jepsen. Viewers have shared some clips from the live show as well, sharing the tracklist and some snippets from the performances. They also shared that he had performed Seven during the soundcheck.
For the music video, all viewers must say is that Jungkook looked extremely cute the whole time. At the same time, others are sharing how the hard-to-get relationship has been showing its cracks when So-hee’s character reveals a small smile that comes as the video is about to come to an end. Most of them are sharing that they are sad that the GMA concert got cancelled, but they did share some of the videos from the soundcheck, which is keeping the fandom afloat.
