Platonic relationships are more common than we know. However, there’s more to them than we think we know. Seasons explores one such relationship where both the girl and the boy decide to take an umpteenth chance to find their better halves. Will they be successful in their endeavour? A friendship between a girl and a boy is unlike that between two boys or two girls. The give-and-take has its perks that you do not find in male and female friendships. In that way, I can get to understand women better as she’s there to help me figure things out. In the same way, I’ll be able to help her know more about boys or men or both. Those of you who are in a platonic relationship will know what I’m saying and for those of you who don’t, I hope this film will help you understand.
Seasons Cast
The romantic movie stars Carlo Aquino and Lovi Poe in titular roles. Since it will revolve around them and their friendship, the other cast members are all secondary. We do not come across anyone else in the trailer other than these two who will play an important role. The characters of Carlo and Lovi are probably staying away from their families so unless there is a second trailer, we will find out about them in the film itself.
Seasons Plot/Storyline
The word “seasons” seems to point at how the platonic relationship will slowly take shape between Carlo and Lovi’s characters and then go on to blossom into love eventually. Naturally, the shift won’t be smooth just like our seasons. There will be happiness, there will be heartbreak, there will be sadness, there will be doubts; and we have to wait to find out how the two figure out what they really want and how far they are willing to go for it.

As sweet as such a relationship is, there’s no telling when things might go sideways. By sideways I don’t mean bad but something unexpected. From the trailer, it is clear that they will fall for each other but will they take it forward? Or will they decide to remain friends? To be or not to be in love, that is the question.
