King the Land (킹더랜드) is a rom-com Kdrama that brings the story of an heir and an employee who works at one of the hotels owned by his family. Directed by Im Hyun-wook, the drama stars Lee Jun-ho, Lim Yoon-a (Yoona), Go Won-hee, Kim Ga-eun, Ahn Se-ha, and Kim Jae-won, alongside other cast members.
The drama brings the story of the heir Goo Won who has been thrown into an inheritance war, and the happy Cheon Sa-rang, whose smile moves him like no other. As the two begin to spend more time together, a beautiful love begins to bloom in their story.
The show will have 16 episodes and be broadcasted on jTBC on the Saturday-Sunday slot at 10:30 PM (KST) previously occupied by Doctor Cha. King the Land episode 6 has a run time of 75 minutes.

King the Land Episode 6 Recap
King the Land episode 6 begins with a worried Gu Won who rushes to Hwa-ran to get permission to use the helicopter so that he can rush to save Sa-rang. However, her attitude towards this matter is unbothered so Gu Won retaliates by taking the helicopter either way and soon leaves to find Sa-rang.
Gu Won soon finds Sa-rang at the place where she fell and jumps towards her. He then assures her that she is safe while the helicopter leaves due to bad weather conditions. The two are now stuck together, but this has dispelled their fear and shock. Soon, the man who collects ginseng in these mountains finds and rescues them.

He then gives them food and shelter for the night and later rebukes Gu Won for making his employees do this work. The next day, the two put forward the request for his collaboration with the King Hotel, but the man refuses. However, when Sa-rang shows him the wild ginseng she found, he is astonished and impressed by her. He thus makes the decision to collaborate with King Hotel as well and even goes ahead to give her a job offer.
The group then jokes around and the man packs the ginseng for Sa-rang to take along. The two then leave and Sa-rang thanks Gu Won, however, seeing her being so formal is unsettling for Gu Won. He then observes the relationship between Sa-rang and Sang-shik which has no room for any formality or nervousness which makes him jealous.
He tries various means to sit beside Sa-rang but she is unable to take a hint. Later, they have to abandon Sang-shik at a rest stop due to his stomach issues. The two then drive to Sa-rang’s grandmother’s restaurant and almost say their goodbyes. However, Gu Won is not yet ready to do so and tries peeking inside the restaurant when Sa-rang’s grandmother catches him.

She then orders him to peel the onions which is a task that Gu Won is unable to complete properly. She sighs but lets go of him after which she sends the two to get her a tofu block. However, the two once again get distracted by the bustling market and forget about the tofu. But a positivity in Sa-rang’s emotions towards Gu Won begins to bloom as she sees him as someone more than a boss.
The two then to the restaurant and get a earful from Sa-rang’s grandmother before she takes them to have some food. Gu Won is instantly swept away by the gukbap given to him and is given more to take home. The two soon leave and Gu Won drops Sa-rang home where she thanks him for all his help.
King the Land Episode 6 Ending
He asks her to treat him to a meal as thanks and calls it a date which makes Sa-rang bashful as she rushes inside her house. Gu Won then returns home and sees the chairman in the living room. He approaches his father and offers him the gukbap that he brought back home. His father takes it happily and relishes the taste of the gukbap.

He then questions Gu Won about the helicopter incident and asks him if it was worth going through all that for one person. Gu Won then questions him how many times he has saved a person which enlightens his father as he praises Gu Won for being able to save this one life.
The next day, King the Land prepares for a birthday party of a young heiress which is also attended by Gu Won. While Sa-rang is happy to see him and thinks about their date, she notices the closeness between Gu Won and the young heiress and is instantly jealous.
She soon returns home where her friends are able to see the kind of mood she is in. The girls then put on some music to destress themselves while their food keeps coming in one after another. It is Sa-rang’s turn to collect the food. However, once she opens the door, she finds Gu Won looking at her and another embarrassing moment is caught altogether.
King the Land Episode 6 Review
Jealously is spreading from both the leads and we are loving the drama brought out by the two. This episode was one filled with more jealousy than love, however, it is Gu Won’s cuteness that stole all our hearts today.
The episode really brought the two leads closer while adding on to the new challenges faces by the other stars on the show. The drama continues to bring a mixture of varies emotions and ends on another cliffhanger which will keep us awake all week long.
