Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 Episode 11 Reactions: Kim Bum Devastates the Audience; Happy Endings are Yearned for Deeply

As the beloved K-drama of 2023 nears its conclusion, viewers are tweeting their ecstatic Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 Episode 11 reactions. Starring Lee Dong-wook as Lee Yeon, Kim Bum as Lee Rang, Kim So-yeon as Ryu Hong-joo, Ryu Kyung-soo as Cheon Moo-young, and others, on May 6, 2023, the Korean fantasy drama series resumed its much-awaited journey.

Season 2, which serves as a prequel of the former season in a way, has been directed by Kang Shin-hyo and Jo Nam-hyung, written by Han Woo-ri and created by Studio Dragon. Episode 11, titled ‘Chapter 11: Trap’, premiered on June 10, 2023, and it again has the viewers fearing the upcoming finale and concerned for their favourite characters, who may or may not win their respective happy endings.

Although high on fiery emotions, Episode 11 saw Lee Yeon rise up to the occasion as “the True Fox”, while his antics raised the bar for comedy. In turn, his brother, Lee Rang compelled the viewers to immerse themselves in empathy for the much-loved character. His relationship with Lee Yeon since the beginning of the season has led to a cathartic cinematic experience for the audience, who’ve often even deemed them as the “best K-drama brothers”.

However, with the final episode of the season ringing in alarms, the same viewers can’t help but fear how things will end for the brothers this season. The inevitable separation of the two is being discussed over and over again on Twitter. On the other hand, things seemed to have wrapped up for Ryu Kyung-soo’s character, Moo-yeong, on a tragic note.

Despite his initial vicious attacks, netizens warmed up to him and realised over time that he was simply a confused soul, and not particularly evil. His fate’s finality has rendered the viewers lost who’d been hoping for him to find his happy ending with Hong-joo.
