Foundation Season 2 Teaser: Futures Read and Uprisings Quelled With Gratuitous Intensity

In the new season of this Apple TV+ series, creators David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman, share the Foundation Season 2 teaser taking us deeper into Isaac Asimov’s science fiction futuristic dystopia. This series stars Lou Llobell, Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Leah Harvey, Sasha Behar, Laura Birn, Terrance Mann, Elliot Cowan, Daniel MacPherson, Kubbra Sait, Pravessh Rana, Nikhil Parmar, Cassian Bilton and Jairaj Varsani, alongside other cast members.

The Earth was supposed to be plunged into an age of darkness for 30,000 long years, but things get more intense when Brother Day spares the two important individuals, Hari Seldon and Dornick. Their exile has reaped some benefits, but this season, there are some confrontations coming, and they won’t be pretty.

A hundred years after this, Brother Day shares how Hari Seldon promised that they could read the future. That there is a way to shorten all the coming age of darkness. There is a way to save all of humanity through this foundation, away from the rest of them. The only question remaining is if they can actually read the future. It seems as though, currently, the truth is cloaked behind some veils. Meanwhile, Dornick is planning something in private. Something that will have catastrophic implications towards the Galactic Empire.

It seems that the people tasked with shortening the age of darkness are going to be the harbingers that will onset it in the first place. It will be their efforts that cause the ripple effect through the empire. Brother Day will not just be facing the implications of trusting two fugitives but also having them be the end of an empire. However, the implications seem to work in his favour. Brother Day has intelligently made alliances with people who will put him in a position of power.

Hari Seldon is gleefully watching the empire fall, as all empires do. However, this has been going on for long enough that the uprising needed a win. There are many players in making this happen, and the real question is, what has Dornick been doing all this time? Does she care for whatever Seldon has been doing, or will she be forging her path separate from him? This season will be filled with some conflict, an era-defining fight and some intense drama that will make it the Victorian Sci-fi that this show is giving.
