Rough Diamonds Season 2 will be even more intense and doused in conspiracies. The latest show premiered on April 21, 2023, on Netflix, created by Rotem Shamir and Yuval Yefet. The eight-part series is co-produced by Keshet International and Belgium’s De Mensen and is shot with a mix of Yiddish and Flemish along with a little French and English. The series follows a Jewish orthodox family in Belgium’s Antwerp Diamond Square Mile trying to keep their generational business stable. Each episode has a total runtime of approximately 50-55 minutes.

The cast ensemble consists of notable actors in the industry. Kevin Janssens takes up the lead role as Noah Wolfson alongside Els Dottermans as Jo Smets, Ini Massez as Adina Glazer and Robbie Cleiren as Eli Wolfson. Rough Diamonds Premise
The story surrounds the Wolfson family, who are Belgian Hasidic Jews and have been running the diamond business for generations. However, after the youngest son takes his own life, things start to cascade like dominos, and secrets begin to pour out. Conspiracies among the family are revealed, and situations escalate to the point where there is no return. In order to preserve their hierarchal business, the family goes to all extent without stopping.

Death in the family remains imminent as the head Wolfson passes away following a political issue involving his eldest son, Eli. However, the company is deep into debt, and there is no other option but to liquidate. The events force the family to make contact with the Albanian mob. The lead prosecutor has been investigating the mob for a long time, and after Wolfson’s involvement, she gets an opening to lead the case in full force.
It all falls upon Noah’s soldiers to protect his family and keep the business afloat. He makes some rash decisions that lead to a whirlpool of dangerous events and has no way out. Through planning and scheming, he ensures the family’s safety. However, the road to attaining that was not simple, as he had to betray his closest confidant.
Rough Diamonds Season 2 Release Date
The news for Rough Diamonds Season 2 is not revealed yet. The story had a satisfying end, and the creators might not develop any further. But there is also a possibility that the story will contain more gritty events and showcase Noah running Wolfson Diamonds in its full glory.
