-True to Love Episode 4 Recap and Review Contain Spoilers-
The episode starts off with Yu-jeong waking up Bo-ra after her drunken shenanigans with Ju-wan, to remind her about the Golden Night event that is being organised by her company. Unable to get out of the schedule as her friend’s reputation is on the line, she reluctantly goes to the event to do her part.
In her waiting room, the editor-in-chief comes to greet her & mentions her wedding proposal. To make things worse, she shares how Oscar de Rang wants to do the wedding shoot with her. Not knowing about her heartbroken self, the editor keeps on talking about it, pushing Bo-ra to think about her relationship more.
She ends up drinking more than she can handle & in that state, she is asked to present on stage or give her useful dating tips to the guest present there. At first, Bo-ra freezes on the spot & starts spiralling down into the rabbit hole of how her dating advice didn’t even work for her, then how can she even help others? However, she starts channelling her frustrations and end up spilling out her brutally honest opinions that hurt everyone present there.

At the same event, Sang-jin and Su-hyeok are also seen making an entrance, as they weren’t able to contact Bo-ra & wanted to get the contract finalised. Surprisingly, Sang-jin turns out to be the editor-in-chief’s ex-husband and seeing him there, she throws daggers from her eyes at Yu-jeong’s way. Looking at Bo-ra making a fool of herself & then falling down on the stage, Su-hyeok comes to her rescue.
Although he takes her away from there, the videos from the event go viral & netizens start bashing her for being a fraud, as her actual views contradict everything that she preaches. The company has to face the brunt of it and even Ju-wan orders his security to stop Bo-ra from coming anywhere near her.
Seeing all the hate comments, it affects Bo-ra even more but at Yu-jeong’s request, she posts a handwritten apology by explaining what she was going through that night. But as everyone knows, the internet is a scary place & even the apology doesn’t help her case. Even Bo-mi is worried about her sister & is seen disliking all the comments saying wrong things about her.
On the other hand, Su-hyeok isn’t doing all so well after his breakup as well. Seeing him hung up on Yu-ri yet, Sang-jin tries to prove that she is already dating someone & mistakenly calls her up. The phone is picked up by a man, yet Su-hyeok doesn’t believe & thinks that he can win her back. In a drunken state, he ends up in front of her place and actually finds her with a man.

To get some fresh air, Bo-ra decides to roam around the city, which seems to be going pretty well until she sits on the bus, and all the emotions come running down. At the same time, Su-hyeok is driving around the city listening to music & reminiscing about Yu-ri, when he spots her crying out of a bus window.
Final Thought: True to Love Episode 4
The episode took a backseat from yesterday’s blasting episode. Bo-ra’s burst out felt a little too much and reeling back from it seems a bit difficult if it had happened in real life. It was more about her trying to get over her break-up yet being hopeful of getting back together, which made her more of a mess since Ju-wan never came around. I hope the drama takes a turn for the better & shows how Bo-ra changes her situation in her favour.
