After 30 years of the original show premiering, Netflix released the reunion film, and fans have been letting their opinions shine through in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Once and Always reactions. Starring Walter Emanuel Jones, David Yost, Johnny Yong Bosch, Karan Ashley, Catherine Sutherland, Steve Cardenas, Barbara Goodson, Charlie Kersh and Benny Joy Smith alongside other cast members, this film is directed by Charlie Haskell.
Becca Barnes and Alwyn Dale join the crew are screenplay writers. Ollie Jones is the director of photography, while Brad Davidson joins as the editor with music by Ron Wasserman. In this movie, the Power Rangers team up together to defeat Rita Repulsa, who has come back in a robot form and has plans to do something insidious it involves the Rangers deeply. While the initial attack killed Trini, the Rangers were all left behind to wallow in their grief for a year before the villain appeared again on their doorsteps, ready to trample.
However, instead of fighting the villains, the Rangers got captured. Since Zack and Minh were late to the memorial, they were almost saved, along with Billy, who barely escaped the clutches of Rita and her lackeys. As Zack drops Minh back home, the duo make their way to the Cranston Building. In the basement, Zack finds Alpha 9 working and trying to assess the damage done by the villains and tries to call all the Rangers across the globe to finally beat Robo Rita.
As the other rangers are called, we get this sense that they are all in on it together, that they will always be rangers even if they aren’t teenagers anymore. The prospect of losing the planet or any more people renders them intelligent and good in a pressurised situation. In such a case, the Rangers all plan to divert the lackeys while they distract Rita enough to get the Rangers she has in captivity back.

This movie had a lot of potential to be divisive, but most fans of the show are heralding the way they have taken care of the storyline and the tributes to the ones they have lost along the way. They have been given their legacies and feathers, which has been an extremely cool development for other actors.
The heroes and villains get together in this epic match of wits and strength, which obviously leads the Rangers to victory. We also see some new faces and new legacies for the characters who have since passed and actors who would have liked to see other people portraying a character everyone felt so connected by. Rita has been defeated, but there is still danger lurking when you’re a Ranger. Now that Minh has taken up the mantle with enthusiasm and determination to do justice, Billy might just put together a team of new teenage Rangers.
Fans share how excited they are to see this reunion of a show that defined people’s childhood and also gave birth to one of the biggest memes that eventually even turned into a full-blown project and acknowledgement from a major studio. Even though they are excited to see the characters back, they are also ready to admit that the rose-coloured glasses have influenced their opinions.
