Invisible City Season 2 Ending Explained
From what we know after watching the series, the second season of the fantasy crime drama starts with Luna’s exploration to find her missing father Eric, who did not return from the magical forest after the mysterious events of the first season. Notably, the attempt soon turns into a deal with the devil when Luna confronts the enigmatic spirit Matinta.
The spirit offers her help in locating her father’s whereabouts in exchange for a wicked wish. Moreover, Luna gives in to the condition and reunites with Eric, only for a brief period of time.
Once again, the young teenager gets taken away from Eric, who also learns about his newly acquired entity powers. However, this time around, not only the detective has to rescue Luna from the clutches of evil, but also safeguards the very interest of the forest aka Marangatu.
Eric learns that Inês, Matinta and Debora (the twin sister of the protector) are all interconnected and part of the mission to save Marangatu from Castro and other greedy individuals. Moreover, once he locates Luna, he finds out her purpose in the entire thing and decides to help her with the process.

Towards the end, the entities start to consume Eric from the inside, but he sacrifices himself and returns them back to the embodiments. Moreover, Luna passes on the necklace to Deborah (given to her by Gabriella in the first season, as a sign of protection) and restores the balance of the Marangatu.
The finale scenes of the series showcase complete justice, as Castro is found guilty in court (after Telma brings him there in the first place). The greedy Castro later vows to return and take his revenge from the forest, as part of his hideous schemes. However, when he is thrown into his cell, Debora turns into her snake avatar and finishes the entity of greed and selfishness, at last.
