One of the main things that has a lot of fans talking about is Joel’s rampage of actions when he decided to save Ellie instead of letting her be used as a cure for the pandemic. Some fans think the TV show did a great job showing how tough that decision was, and how complicated his character turned out to be. Morever, they liked that the show remained really realistic and did not switch far away from the adaptation.

However, there is a small fraction of people, who didn’t like the way the show ended. They have expressed how it didn’t do a good job of showing how hard Joel’s decision was, and that it made things too simple. They also have the opinion that the series was too submissive or that it didn’t match up with the game.

Most fans on Twitter, though, are expressing that they really liked the TV adaptation overall. They appreciated that it was really well made and that it stayed true to the game. Furthermore, they like the actors and how they resembled the characters and scenes from the game.

Even if someone didn’t like the ending, a lot of fans are really happy that the TV adaptation was made. They have mentioned that it was a really great way to bring the game to life and that it will be remembered for a long time. Online users are excited to see what comes next from the showrunners in the new season.
