The stakes have touched the roof when Dushyant and Mona speak to the bodyguards about taking care of Hansika. While Mona thinks even six are less, Dushyant reassures Hansika’s mother and notifies her that there will be more security surrounding the whole wedding outside of these six people as well. Moving on from the security conversation, the two of them make their way to the caterer guy who has been giving them the metaphorical slip by not picking up when contacted. Additionally, the man barely does the work he has been assigned.

Mona and Dushyant speak to him about the cutlery and the fact that he had been notified about this long before any talk of the food even started. Mona Motwani, mother of the bride has been having hotel food instead of the one the caterer had promised they would be getting. Moreover, the man has been doing a subpar job collecting a diverse range of cutleries. Since Hansika wanted new cutlery with every new meal at the wedding, they needed to make sure that things are happening in the exact same way.

Meanwhile, Hansika has been getting ready for the Sufi night and putting mehendi even though there is a big ceremony later. She explained that she wanted to enjoy the Polo match instead of sitting with her hands spread open for five to six hours. So she was decked up completely for the Sufi night, with a maang tika and a jhoomar. And her best friend Sriya Reddy came at the same time she was starting to get ready, and the excitement had totally ramped up, now all that has to come through is the music.

Dushyant is coordinating the same thing with Manish, who is taking care of the guest singer, Kutle Khan. He will be serenading the audience during the Sufi night. However, there are problems with his stay in the hotel along with another band, Bombay Rockers. They may be left without rooms, but Dushyant has made arrangements, including their stays in the hotel close to the palace. Mundota is a big place, and there are many places to accommodate them. Kutle Khan has just to make it to the venue.

While the wedding planner is making sure everything comes through, he is told that the singer will come one and a half hours after the event will start. This is already stressful, but he thinks that since all these events start late only, it should be okay. However, when the singer is stuck in traffic, and it literally seems like the event won’t happen, Dushyant is flying by the seat of his pants. He is rallying everyone, trying to stall the bride and groom, but things aren’t working. The wedding duo is waiting for the singer, and the stage is empty.

Just then, Kutle Khan makes an interesting entrance and totally transforms the scene of the Sufi night; people are dancing, watching the dancers and swaying to the music. For Dushyant, this Sufi night was successful even though it did not go as planned. The next morning, he meets the polo match organiser and sees all the horses and players make their way to the ground. After a brief conversation, they marvel at how things have worked out so well, even though this whole thing is last minute. The Polo match will be happening between the Udaipur and Jaipur teams.

Hansika has been getting ready for the polo match in a beautiful studded white dress with some intense 60s waves. She and Sohael enter the ground in a vintage car while the rest of the bridal party and guests look sharp in their Pinterest-resourced Polo outfits. Unlike the utter chaos that happened in the last event, this one is much chiller. The full extent of this will be explored next episode.

Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama Episode 5 Review

As a poignant comment told this writer last time, the value of Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama hinges on the fact whether they were engaged or not. Since then, this writer has taken to embrace the genre in the spirit of enjoying all its inane gloriousness. Even though this episode was supposed to raise heartbeats and keep them on the edge of their seats because of the drama, this writer didn’t particularly feel inclined to Hansika Motwani’s dilemma when it came to the Sufi night.

While any rational brain would comprehend that having Sufi- an art form used to celebrate the purity of spiritual love at a wedding is somehow inappropriate, but we digress. The thing that really drives the stupidity of this show is the fact that they have misspelt the name of their own wedding planner within the episode. Furthermore, any story involving a rich woman complaining about one of her thousand hyper-specific things not happening isn’t particularly engaging.
