The 6th episode of the 2nd season of this much-loved series is finally here, and we saw the story unfold in new directions. So, how did this episode fare anyways? Find out below.
Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Episode 6 Overview

When the first season ended, fans felt endless frustration because of the massive cliffhanger of the last episode that left many questions unanswered. This is why the hype around this anime is insane, and we are sure it will live up to it.
Director Hatsumi Kouichi, who also worked in anime like Darling in the FranXX, Deadman Wonderland, Hunter x Hunter, etc, will handle the direction for the series. Studio LIDENFILMS which handled the first season of this anime will be returning for this season. They have worked on Koi to Uso, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Yofukashi no Uta, etc.
The opening song will be White Noise (ホワイトノイズ), performed by Official HIGE DANdism, and the ending theme will be Kizutsu kedo, Aishiteru. (傷つけど、愛してる。), performed by TUYU.
I have tried my best to keep the review as spoiler free as possible, but there are certain elements that I had to mention to give proper feedback.

Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Episode 6 Review and Recap – A Grave Miscalculation

Another episode of Tokyo Revengers is here, and we are back again with a review of how this episode went. It is the day of the showdown, and everything is set in motion. The episode opens with Hakkai readying himself to commit the deed that he has promised to do. Finally, he will get rid of the problem that haunts his and his sister’s life for the better. He will kill his own big brother, so the future turns bright for them.
On the other hand, we see Chifuyu thinking about the days when Baji told him to follow his back. All this time, he has been the one to carry on the will of Baji, and this was the day when he passed that will to Takemichi in the form of Baji’s sash.
Chifuyu passes this keepsake to Takemichi and introduces himself as the vice-captain before heading to their mission. It almost felt like Chifuyu is officially accepting Takemichi as his captain and handing over his and the first division’s fate to our protagonist.
Takemichi knows this mission is not something where he can rely on others, and he will have to do it himself, along with his makeshift so-called allies. With that resolve in his heart, he goes to the church to stop Hakkai.
The plan is simple, Takemichi will be inside the church, preventing Hakkai from executing the crime he wants to commit, and the others will stand outside and handle Taiju. Everything was going according to plan as well. But when Takemichi was trying to reason with Hakkai, their nightmare entered the church. Reciting prayers, Taiju comes in, promising a bad fate for our protagonist.

Takemichi quickly realises he has been backstabbed by Kisaki, who planned this from the start. But the most surprising thing is not that. This anime, which is filled with plot twists and revelations, yet again managed to surprise us. I will not spoil the last part and urge you to go and see the episode yourself.
Verdict
The cliffhanger here really kills you. I can’t wait to see what might happen to Takemichi now that he is in between a very dangerous family feud. Hopefully, he will be able to survive, but what will be the consequences later? Will Takemichi’s future change for the better, or his life end in the church? Watch this anime on Hulu.
