As a means to celebrate the debut single album and the comeback of the most chaotic sub-unit of the Kpop act SEVENTEEN, Going BSS sheds some light on the behind-the-scenes environment for the preparations at hand. Once agin standing by the statement, “Happiness comes from BooSeokSoon”, the trio formed by Boo Seungkwan, DK (real name – Lee Seok-min) and Hoshi (real name – Kwon Soon-young) has unleashed a laughter riot for their fans in the form of a “mockumentary”.
While the three are obviously at the focus of scene, they also pay a visit to their fellow SEVENTEEN member, Woozi, who’s often stepped in as the group’s producer and composer, and has also worked on the tracklist for the upcoming BSS album Second Wind. Wearing an astronaut helmet, he’s seen focussing on his task at hand while the leading trio, who can possibly give the Three Musketeers a run for their money, discuss the makings of their forthcoming single album.

These discussions entail PowerPoint presentations and grave conversations around the concept of the musical release, but as the fans of the group, commonly known as Carats, would’ve already guessed by now, it all turns into a bone-tickling session for us all. As Seungkwan, DK and Hoshi approach the highly coveted producer to grant them their wish of another hit blockbuster, Woozi, too, reveals that his rates have gone up since the beginning. Once he demands a large cheque for the result to be achieved, the three singers are more than willing to gather all their savings to hire him.
Carats know it better than anyone, whenever SEVENTEEN is concerned, the show can’t be concluded without an imaginative skit making some part of it. Fighting, the title of the first track itself induces a heavy reaction fuelled by goosebumps on BSS’ part, and the teaser for the same will be made available to the audience on February 3, 2023.
The initial sequence of the well-crafted unveils the demands of the three artists from their management team. While Hoshi asks for a tiger lounge, and plays with his words, bringing in laughter on the crew’s side as well, DK requests only for love. On the other hand, Seungkwan wants them to push him harder. He later pulls out a presentation as well, which notes their concept to be a unique continuation of their former digital single Just Do It, depicting a combination of “passion, energy, a working song and a challenge”. The ‘charismatic’ leader, DK, even belts out an invigorating round by chanting their tagline, “Happiness doesn’t come from grades, it comes from BSS””.

Many such moments that’ll leave you on an unserious note, while trying your best to control your laughter, are spread across the video. Comments and reactions from fans like, “not even 10 seconds into the episode you know it’s going to be unserious and chaotic” build a synonymous image of the sub-unit you can’t help but fall for. Check out the reactions listed on Twitter for the latest video which kick starts the comeback time for good.
