TOMORROW X TOGETHER has been treating us with delights every now and then, since their comeback is just around the corner, and today we’ve been blessed with the Sugar Rush Ride video teaser. Numerous enchanting photo teasers have done their round on the internet and left the fans of the group, collectively known as MOA, speechless.
The official news release of the album had left us with a theme surrounding the upcoming fifth EP titled The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, about how it “depicts youth on the brink of adulthood,” which is a fitting image for the fourth generation K-pop group signed under HYBE Labels as well. It’s five members – Yeonjun, Soobin (leader of the group), Beomgyu, Taehyun and HueningKai – are the representative symbol of the industry’s millennial talent, with Yeonjun being the eldest (’99 line).
TEMPTATION voices the generational shift of moving forward with time regardless of all the challenges that may hinder one’s path. The same theme goes to follow the lives of the TXT members. The aforementioned leading title is all about the “sugar rush” felt by a boy after falling prey to the temptations of a devil. The storyline seemingly continues the chronological approach the group has previously showcased in their existing narrative visualised through the ample number of music videos released since their debut.
With a total of five songs on the tracklist – Devil by the Window, Sugar Rush Ride, Happy Fools (feat. Coi Leray), Tinnitus and Farewell, Neverland – the physical album releasing in a matter of few days has three versions that have already left MOAs wonderstruck about the members’ beauty.
The teaser released today is set in a fantastical landscape of a forest, which though appears to be colourful and eye-catching, it also carries a beguiling and bewitching scent along with it. All five members look nothing short of ‘sleeping beauties’ in the first frame of the video itself. The musical tune of the song, on the other hand, leaves you lingering for more after giving you a shirt sweet tease of the harmony belted out by Soobin. Watching the teaser has left us even more excited than before. We can’t wait for the final reveal of the music video to witness the group in its absolute artistic glory.
