AlKhallat+ paved its way like a boss. Previously, the director of the movie, Fahad Alammari, dropped a series with the same name that earned around 1.3 billion global streams. Now a shorter version of that series is released as a movie; however, with its own spice and essence.
The movie’s main cast includes Mohammed Aldokhei, Ibraheem Alkhairallah, Abdulaziz Alshehri, Ibrahem Al Hajjaj, Sohayb Godus, Fahad Albutairi, Ziyad Alamri, and Ismail Alhassan. There are also other important supporting actors in each short story who help build the movie’s storyline. The film’s production credits go to Telfaz11 studios, and the total runtime is 1 hour 57 minutes.

The Tire Thieves
The movie starts with a man named Turky struggling to smoke amidst his family, who are all preparing for his sister’s wedding. He gets disturbed by his sister, father, mother, and younger brother before being shocked by a stranger standing next to his car. Turky soon realizes that the stranger is a tire thief and chases him and his friends. Soon one of the thieves gets caught while his friends escape. Then the story follows the friends trying to save him.
The first short story was highly hilarious, thanks to the actors. The character Yehia who pretends like Faysal’s lawyer, acts on point. There was this lingering tension between Faysal’s friends who were trying to save him. The dialogues, the claim for an apology by Yehia at the wrong time, and the “mastermind” panicking and losing his mind were excellently exhibited. As expected, the ending of the first short story was satisfactory. Moreover, once the first story ends, a text appears on the screen stating, “He who has a trick in their bag, they shall use it” before the movie’s title comes up.
Sara’s Chaotic Parents
The second short story is about Sara, a chef at a 5-star hotel. She arranges a dinner for her soon-to-be-divorced parents in hopes that they will realize their love. However, things don’t go according to Sara’s plans, but somehow she manages to pull it off. This short story indeed had humour, but beyond that, there was a life lesson provided.
Certain scenes, such as Sara’s wish for her parents to fall in love again, her parents being all pricky yet reconciling, and the colleagues saving her from the nightmare, built the plot well. Additionally, the ending was very realistic and was a little sentimental. So, I can’t call the entire story hilarious because Sara didn’t deserve the ending.

Fahd’s Wife
The story starts with Fahd dead and his wife mourning near him. Fahd’s best friend, who was also caught in the accident, somehow gets only a fracture, so he also pays his visit to his deceased friend. But there’s a reason why he came there: to retrieve Fahd’s mobile. Why did he want the mobile? What was he desperately trying to hide?
After Sara’s short story, your heart will be eased with the third one. Oh God, I genuinely say this story had 100% dark humour stuffed in it. The chaos caused by Fahd’s friend to hide the truth ultimately ends up in a very unexpected, oddly funny climax. Definitely a great story to brighten up someone’s mood.
Father and Son’s Bond
Every father and son has a cat and mice relationship mostly, and in this short story, we will see it accurately. Mr Khaled is stingy and keeps nagging his son to listen to his words. The teenager, as usual, denies his words and unexpectedly gets dragged inside a club along with a celebrity. Meanwhile, Khaled keeps calling his son and then figures he is at the club via the security camera. Both the father and son’s hide-and-seek game starts there.
The bond between the father and son represents the Asian parenting style. The father keeps yelling and verbally annoying the son to listen to his words. As an Asian, you’ll not consider this abuse because that’s how the parenting style pretty much s in Asian countries. Notably, the ending was so wholesome and entertaining when the mother entered.
Alkhallat+: Stream or Skip?
Absolutely stream it once or twice or as many times as you wish. The movie is absolutely rib-tickling with exciting plots, all happening on the same day. Director Fahad Alammari’s idea is magnificent and deserves a celebration. The cast has done really well because every actor’s execution of dialogue felt real. We can’t fail to appreciate the cinematographer for choosing beautiful locations for all the stories.
