Vibe MV featuring Big Bang’s Taeyang and BTS’ Jimin was unveiled today and as expected it has taken over the internet, and the music charts, to being the top trending topic on social media. Recently, it was announced that Taeyang had left YG entertainment and joined its subsidiary label – The Black Label, known for producer Teddy.
And coming back after quite some time, Taeyang collaborated with the member of the biggest boy band at the moment, Jimin – who once said that it was his dream to work with BigBang. Well, now the dream has become a reality as the two artists with honey voices that can melt anyone’s ears, have come together and it definitely is a Vibe.
The song is composed by Teddy, Kush, Vince, Taeyang, Jimin, and 24, while the lyrics were written by Taeyang and Vince. Through this song, they want to express the strange emotions that one feels within a relationship, sometimes you are head over heels for them, or the game of push and pull that makes your feelings fluctuate.

The music video starts off with a blonde-haired Taeyang who sings about his lover making him feel so right and how their smile is a fine art. While you were getting into the video, nobody would have expected him to greet us shirtless, already setting the stage for what is to come, which is purely alluring.
One of the key things to notice in the music video is that they have not used any grand locations or props to fill the frame. Rather they have used a range of lights to signify the lyrics. For example, they can be seen creating a prison by using various spotlights and when the lyrics say ‘matrix’ then, the laser lights are used to create one. Keeping the artist in the centre as the star of it all.
As soon as the video was released, fans of both groups flooded Twitter with their views about the song and the absolute best captures of the song. Some were amazed by their voices and how Jimin seem to be using a different singing technique, along with his singing rap hasn’t gone unnoticed. Meanwhile, Taeyang is getting acquainted with the new trends and challenges, as we even got an ending fairy video of him.
