Shikarpur is an upcoming Bangla language crime thriller series, set to be released on Zee5 this week. Produced by Shyam Sunder Dey, this investigative thriller series is directed by Nirjhar Mitra and is expected to have at least 9 episodes.
The show Shikarpur will walk us through the journey of an underdog detective striving to gain the title of the best detective in his town, just like his teacher. Dreaming of making his name like Byomkesh Bakshi and Feluda, the road of investigation is definitely not a walk in the park.

The cast of the series includes Ankush Hazra as Keshto, Kaushik Ganguly as Dindayal Biswas, Sandipta Sen as Chumki, Debashish Mondol as Biman, Korak Samanta as Boltu, Debesh Roychoudhury, Korak Samanta, Krishnendu Dewanji, Sayan Ghosh, Biswajit Das, Anirban Bhattacharya and others.
Shikarpur Plot/Synopsis
The official synopsis of the series reads, “As Shikarpur witnesses the menace of a thieving monster, life goes off track when a series of murders follow. Assigned to solve the cases, will a small-time detective be able to prove his worth?”
The trailer starts off with a scenic view of the place, but it soon takes a grim turn as we get to know that 3 murders in the last 6 months have happened in this town. This is the golden opportunity for Keshto, to prove his detective skills by solving this crime. But the man who can’t even catch a goat, will he be able to catch the killer that plays along the lines of supernatural even.
It looks like along with the killer, there’s a rumour about a ghost too, called Pichla Bhoot. As Keshto progresses in his investigation, he will encounter strange things happening to him. But the question remains will he find two criminals or two by the end of it?
