It’s a Wonderful Binge is the hilarious sequel to The Binge that finds the duo of best friends (Hags and Andrew), dealing with the comical sequences of their respective life. The film follows the former trying to propose to his girlfriend Sarah, while the latter gets stuck with his odd family type. Moreover, the buddy comedy flick is directed by Jordan VanDina and stars Eduardo Franco and Dexter Darden as the leading best friends.
The complete cast of the movie includes Kaitlin Olson as Mayor Spengler, Danny Trejo as Angel, Patty Guggenheim as Delray Donna, Nick Swardson as Uncle Kris, Paul Scheer, Tim Meadows, Adam Herschman, Max Malas, Rock Kohli, Tamika Simpkins and Connie Shi. Furthermore, the film’s total runtime is one hour and thirty-eight minutes.
It’s a Wonderful Binge Ending Explained
From what we know after watching the movie, Hags (Dexter Darden) gets into all sorts of troubles, in the process of proposing to the love of his life, Sarah. At first, he loses the traditional ring and delays the proposal, for which he’s already quite hesitant. And then, due to his erratic and shady behaviour (consuming drugs with Sarah’s grandma), he plants a seed of doubt inside Sarah’s mind, who believes that her boyfriend is cheating on her.
The confused girlfriend decides to follow Hags, and find the real reason behind his shady activities, along with Kimmy. Later, they also get partnered with the infamous Uncle Kris (Nick Swardson), who freshly broke out from prison.
On the other hand, Andrew (Eduardo Franco) finds himself on a bridge, after having a serious yet comical argument with his family. And finds himself being attacked by an owl, who also turns out to be the most wanted Christmas bird. Furthermore, the kind lad falls from the bridge, only to be rescued by Angel (Danny Trejo) afterwards.
The two of them start taking hallucination-rich substances under a tent (Yes, literally) and end up getting so high, that Andrew envisions his alternate life events, in a black-and-white setting, obviously. The hallucinating duo ends up inside an orphanage, followed by Hags, Sarah and Kimmy in the search for the ring, and its truth respectively.
In the end, all of them end up getting behind bars, amidst the horrible mess of the Binge festival. Moreover, it turns out that Andrew was pretty off-point about his family, as they turn out to be the ones recusing the gang. Followed by a crazy conclusion at the main city event, where Hags finally proposes to Sarah without the auspicious ring.
Furthermore, Andrew also ends up reconciling with his family and girlfriend Kimmy, after observing the proposed couple. Uncle Kris receives an official pardon from the Mayor, who also warns that she will have no authority after Christmas night. Plus, we also get to see that the ring got mixed with the orphanage presents, and ultimately wounds up with Andrew’s mother and her boyfriend.
