Rohit Shetty’s upcoming comedy film Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh is all ready to crack the laughter out of us, but before that, its newly released song Current Laga Re is here to fill us up with electrifying energy.
Cirkus is a comedy film based on Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors that stars Ranveer Singh in a dual role alongside Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma with other cast members.
In Current Laga Re, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone come together on screen once again as the latter makes a special appearance in the upcoming film with this song. As the two shake us the stage with their energy, we see Ranveer getting electrocuted by Deepika who is bringing in her magical charm to the song.
With a mix of Hindi and Tamil, the Queen of Bollywood creates magic in the song alongside her husband and the duo creates an energetic vibe that will bring out all your dance moves whenever you hear this song. The peppy tune and fun lyrics fill us with a wish to dance while Deepika looks stunning in her pink and green South Indian outfit.
On the other hand, Ranveer doesn’t fall behind as his all-black outfit with the moustache compliment the fun in the song. While the two dance around the South Indian themes background, their chemistry reminds us of why this is among the most popular couple in Bollywood.
Cirkus brings the story of two sets of identical twins who accidentally separated at birth and meet again in the same town several years later which then brings in a lot of confusion and misunderstandings as people mistake them for each other.
Circkus is set to release on December 23, 2022, and will be available in theatres near you!
