The Mysterious Benedict Society Season 2 Ending Explained
From what we know after watching the series, Dr Curtain gets kidnapped by the mentors and the gifted orphans in a combined operation, and later wakes up inside Number two’s safe house (her home) in a dizzy state.
Meanwhile, the rest of the team decides to hold the fort against his henchmen, and look forward to defending each other, with their tricks and techniques. This ensures a strong standoff between the opponents followed by a series of spurring emotions.
When Curtain gains consciousness, he finds Mr Benedict in the same form of paralysis, as his other experiments. The evil sibling breaks down in front of his brother and opens up about the true nature of his happiness formula. Moreover, it is revealed that the secret society head outplayed the doctor, and had already regained his senses.
This creates a bonding opportunity for the brothers and leads up to a strong reconciliation. Furthermore, it also stops the western standoff between the two groups, as Curtain recalls his henchman from harming the gang. He also sets them free and asks them to do whatever they want in life (even though it doesn’t look like they received the message).

The gang realizes that everything is completely sorted except for the fate of Constance. Moreover, the brutally honest ten-year-old falls into a real form of paralysis, (as a side effect of the happiness formula), and freezes entirely. Reynie comes up with the solution to wake up from her deep slumber, by making cringe remarks, which would definitely produce some classic Constance comments.
As a result, Constant wakes up from the coma and returns back to her normal state of honesty. The gang also decides to leave the place while number two bids an emotional adieu to her family.
In the end, we get to see the gifted orphans in different places, enjoying the peaceful outcome. Followed by Dr Curtain and his assistant joining the mysterious society, as his way of achieving redemption. Furthermore, when Benedict becomes a little hesitant about his welcome, Curtain states that his decision is propelled by the fear of their sister, who has turned loose. And thus cements this as a mandatory step.
We are left with the hopes of another evil sibling, wreaking havoc in the lives of the Mysterious Society members. Thereby, hinting towards the third season of the show in the near future.
