The White Lotus Season 2 Episode 6 Recap Contains Spoilers

It’s a new day at The White Lotus hotel in Sicily. Ethan tells Harper how it bothers him that she doesn’t believe him. Harper says it’s understood that as he isn’t attracted to her, it makes sense that he slept with someone else. Harper believes something has died in their relationship. Daphne tells Cameron how Harper insinuated that he and Ethan did something bad when they were in Noto. But as usual, Cameron changes the topic.

Portia and Tanya talk about their previous night and everything they did. Tanya tells Portia to slow down with Jack and says something is wrong with his relationship with Quentin. She believes Quentin is not Jack’s uncle, but Portia doesn’t take it seriously. Portia and Jack head out for fun, but she gets suspicious of him. The duo have lunch together, and Portia is not okay with seeing Jack drink so much.

After Ethan returns to the hotel from his run, Lucia and Mia stop him and ask for money. Harper watches them from a distance. During breakfast, Harper tells Ethan not to gaslight her as she sees him talking to the hookers. Cameron and Daphne join the couple for breakfast. They all go to the beach, and Ethan tells Cameron that Harper thinks he cheated on her. The duo get into an argument, and Harper watches them from a distance but doesn’t react. Daphne goes to get a massage. Harper joins Cameron for drinks.

After his swim, Ethan is shocked to see Cameron and Harper disappear from the bar. She leaves him a message that she’s gone back to the hotel. He runs to the hotel and starts getting suspicious of Harper. He asks Harper if Cameron is in their room. When they leave, Cameron comes out of his own room.

Ethan is uncomfortable seeing Harper and Cameron get so comfortable with each other at the beach. Harper tells Ethan that Cameron confirmed everything he told her earlier at the bar. Daphne returns after getting her massage and joins them. At dinner, Ethan asks Cameron about his conversation with Harper. Cameron tells Ethan he told Harper that her husband didn’t sleep with anyone. Ethan warms his friend to stop flirting with Harper and asks if he was in their room in the afternoon. Ethan tells him he knows he got naked in front of his wife on the first day.

Ethan again questions Cameron if he is in their room, but the ladies come to the table. Ethan can’t stop thinking about Harper and Cameron being in their room. The GDirasso men finally explore their motherland to find any of their relatives. Albie brings Lucia along as their translator. Dominic gets uncomfortable seeing her. Bert tells Dominic to get it together as he is giving himself away that he slept with Lucia. Alessio follows Lucia and the DiGrasso men, and the 4 immediately leave. Bert is saddened to have not found any relatives in Sicily. He later praises Mia for her singing talent. A sad Lucia returns to Albie’s hotel room. At The White Lotus hotel, Isabella asks Valentina if she can return Rocco to reception. She tells how Salvatore keeps flirting with her and makes her uncomfortable. Isabella tells the manager that Rocco is her boyfriend, and they’re even engaged.

Mia tries to cheer up the birthday girl and manager, Valentina. Valentina tells her that she has never been with a woman. Mia tries to kiss her, but the manager stops her. Portia tries to handle him, but he won’t stop singing loudly on the street. The duo finally get back to their room. Portia says it must be good to have a rich uncle. A drunk Jack starts spilling the beans about how Quentin isn’t rich, and he lives off the wealthy. He ends up telling Portia about him and his uncle indirectly. Portia is shattered.

The White Lotus Season 2 Episode 6 Review: Final Thoughts

A changed Harper is bothering Ethan, and he suspects Cameron. Did something happen between the two? Well, we are as confused as Ethan. Valentina and Mia have not gotten close, and Lucia is involving Albie in her issues. Tanya and Portia are in a big mess, and it’s too late for them to get out of the situation. Will Ethan kill Cameron, and Albie die because of Alessio? Once the pianist returns, he will accuse Mia of trying to kill him so she can play at the hotel. Everyone is in trouble here, but some are going to die.

I wish the makers had dropped more direct hints about who it is. While I am all in for building suspense, the story is moving slowly. It will be too much to unravel and wrap up in the last episode.
