Want to Watch Echo 3? All You Need to Know About the Layered Personal Drama

Echo 3 is one of the most awaited series on Apple TV+ this month. The series is created by two-time Oscar-winning screenwriter Mark Boal. The American action thriller is based on Omri Givon’s When Heroes Fly.

The American drama, which was shot in Colombia presents its viewers with a picture of the socio-political conditions of South America and at one point, even takes a jibe at the current President of Venezuela. It also celebrates Latin American culture.

Echo 3 Plot

The official synopsis of the drama reads,

“Echo 3 is based on the award-winning series “When Heroes Fly,” created by Omri Givon and inspired by the eponymous novel by Amir Gutfreund. Set in South America, the action-packed thriller follows Amber Chesborough, a brilliant young scientist who is the emotional heart of a small American family. When Amber goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border her brother, Bambi, and her husband, Prince — two men with deep military experience and complicated pasts — struggle to find her in a layered personal drama, set against the explosive backdrop of a secret war.”

The series is the story of Amber Chesborough, a lost American scientist against the backdrop of a secret war. Amber decides to travel to South America in search of medicinal plants that could help in treating addiction. But she goes missing at the Colombia-Venezuela border.

Amber’s brother, Alex or Bambi (played by Luke Evans) and her husband Prince (played by Michiel Huisman) set on a trip to find Amber. The two men share a military background but also have a complex history of personal issues. The series captures Bambi and Prince’s political struggles through their chase.

Echo 3 Cast

The Apple TV+ series casts Jessica Ann Collins as Amber Chesborough (the lost American scientist), Michiel Huisman as Prince (Amber’s affluent husband) and Luke Evans as Bambi (Amber’s brother).

The show also casts Elizabeth Anweis as Natalie Foster, Fahim Fazli as Al Qaeda Commander, Bradley Whitford as Prince’s father, Martin Gusman as a renowned political journalist, James Udom, Marie Del Rosario, Alejandro Furth and Juan Pablo Raba in supporting roles.

Echo 3 Release Date

Echo 3 will premiere on November 23, 2022 and will be available for streaming on Apple TV+.
