The White Lotus Season 2 Episode 3, called ‘Bull Elephants’, is now out. Written and directed by Mike White, the new season stars F Murray Abraham as Bert Di Grasso, Jennifer Coolidge as Tanya McQuoid (from season 1), Jon Gries as Greg Hunt and Tanya’s husband (from season 1), Adam DiMarco as Albie Di Grasso, Theo James as Cameron Babcock, Meghann Fahy as Daphne Babcock, Sabrina Impacciatore as Valentina, Michael Imperioli as Dominic Di Grasso, Aubrey Plaza as Harper Spiller, Will Sharpe as Ethan Spiller, Haley Lu Richardson as Portia, Beatrice Granno as Mia, Simona Tabasco as Lucia, and others.
The synopsis reads, “While Daphne loops Harper into an off-resort excursion, Ethan and Cameron get in some bro time. Tanya seeks advice from a tarot reader.”

It’s a new day, and The White Lotus hotel manager, Valentina, isn’t in a good mood. Dominic ends up spending the night with both Mia and Lucia. Harper gets ready to have morning sex with her husband, Ethan. Harper tells Ethan that now she will be the life of the party with his friends. Ethan doesn’t want her to overdo it, as they will figure out it is fake. Greg packs his stuff to leave for an important work meeting. When Mia and Lucia leave Dominic’s room, Bret sees them in the hallway and greets them.
Harper tries to be “cool” at breakfast, like Ethan’s friend Cameron and his wife, Daphne. Daphne talks about a beautiful town where there are some good shops. But Cameron already has a Jet-ski plan for himself and Ethan. For the first time, Daphne argues with her husband. Daphne asks Harper if she would like to come with her to Noto. Harper agrees.
Albie again shares the table with Portia. The two talk about the previous night and breakfast. Portia gets emotional and tells Albie she needs to get a new job and doesn’t feel happy. She asks Albie, “Is everything boring?” Albie says no, and she opens up about how she is feeling and slams how people just come and click pics for Instagram, and everything is the same.

Bret asks Dominic about Mia and Lucia, but Dominic initially denies anything and says they are maids. Dominic requests his father not to say anything about this to Albie. The duo also shares the breakfast table with Albie and Portia. Bert tells everyone that he planned a tour last night as he couldn’t sleep due to the noise from the other side.

Bert tells them about a few places where Francis Ford Coppola shot The Godfather movies. He got a car and driver, and they all will do a tour of these places.
Tanya starts crying at the breakfast table as Greg will be leaving soon. She believes he’s doing it because of the prenup. Greg tries to make her understand that it’s just work and nothing else. When Greg says he’s been married 4 times, Tanya starts crying loudly.

Mia and Lucia go shopping for the movie Dominic gave them. When Mia asks for half the money for shopping, Lucia tells her she didn’t even sleep with Dominic. But they keep shopping and trying on clothes. When Ethan and Cameron head out for Jet-ski, Harper and Daphne head to Noto in a car.
Bert, Dominic, Albie, and Portia are at the place where they shot The Godfather. When Bert tells the scene where Apollonia’s car blows up and she dies shot there, Portia calls it tasteless. When he calls it the Best American movie ever made, his grandson Albie says it is not. Albie says that men love The Godfather because they feel emasculated by modern society. But both Bert and Dominic put their points forward about why they liked the movie.
Tanya is back to being sad again as Greg leaves. She asks the hotel if there are any Psychics in the town. Valentina tells her that they have a tarot card reader. Tanya asks if she can arrange an appointment with the tarot reader in her room. Tanya calls Portia and asks her to return to her room as Greg is gone. Portia leaves the shooting spot and apologizes to the DiGrasso family. Albie believes she left because of his dad, as he has a knack for repelling women.
When Bert asks Albie if they embarrass him, Albie says they’re sometimes not aware of how they sound. Bert tells his grandson how he used to respect the old during his time, and now they’re treated like a past people want to forget.

Harper and Daphne reach the Noto and take a tour of the Palazzo. Daphne tells Harper that they will be renting the place for the night. Harper asks Daphne if she doesn’t feel weird being here without the guys, and Daphne says no. The ladies go for a swim in the pool. Harper asks Daphne why she didn’t inform her before that they would stay. Daphne says she wants Cameron to think they had more fun as her husband has FOMO and abandonment issues.
Harper says that’s not what she does with Ethan and wants to inform her husband that they’re staying. Daphne calls Cameron and informs him about spending the night at the Palazzo. Cameron is shocked to hear the news. Cameron tells Ethan that she always does that to punish him.
Cameron and Ethan have drinks together, and the former praises his friends for how far he’s come. Cameron talks about the company Ethan sold and how to know it from someone else. Cameron wants Ethan to invest in his company as he wants his friend and wife. He tells Ethan when they get back; he should meet some people in his office. Ethan agrees.
Portia is with Tanya, and the tarot reader is also in the room. But Tanya tells Portia to leave the room or hang out in the bathroom. Tanya asks the tarot reader if her marriage with Greg will last. The reader tells Tanya that the cards she got are deceitful and beautiful. It means there’s someone beautiful in her husband’s life. Tanya breaks down, calls the lady negative, and asks her to leave. After the tarot card reader leaves, Tanya decides to take a nap. But she doesn’t let Portia leave the room.

The DiGrasso men are back, and Dominic tells Albie that he has always supported women. He tells his son that he’s a feminist. Dominic wants Albie to tell his ex-wife that he misses her and Cara. Albie tells Dominic that nothing will fix his words and that he has to change. Dominic assures that he has changed.
Harper and Daphne are hanging out in Noto, where the men can’t stop staring at Harper. The duo has lunch together and indulges in talks about being a woman and more. Daphne reveals why she loves being a woman and would hate to be a man. Cameron and Ethan enjoy Jet-skiing at the beach.
It’s dinner time. Dominic tells Lucia that he can’t meet her tonight. She is upset to hear this. She tells Mia that there are more rich men in the hotel. Cameron and Ethan have dinner together. Cameron casually talks about how everyone cheats, even if someone is married. He asks Ethan about his sex life, and Ethan gives an awkward answer. He tells how he never lies to his wife.
Cameron goes on and on about how monogamy isn’t a thing and about attracting more women. Lucia and Cameron smile at each other from a distance. The pianist/singer of the hotel talks to Mia and tells her he would like to help her with her singing dreams. He has some friends who would help her. Mia knows what he means by friends and tells the man she’ll think about it.

Lucia finds her new target in Cameron, and he also gives her open hints. Ethan feels awkward. Bert sees Mia and Lucia and tells Dominic how those were the girls he saw coming out of his room. The girls share the table with Ethan and Cameron. Cameron flirts with Lucia.
Portia is not having dinner with the DiGrasso family for the first time. Tanya notices how Portia is smiling at Albie. Tanya tells Portia not to spend her life chasing emotionally unavailable men. Tanya feels weird to see some men at the hotel staring at her.
Daphne asks Harper if Ethan has changed, and she says no. The duo calls him a nerd. Daphne says they never fool around with women, earn money, and then cheat. Harper says that Ethan would never cheat. Daphne tells Harper how her husband Cameron is naughty and about his player friends.
After dinner, Portia and Albie share a drink by the pool and kiss. Portia is a bit awkward. Albie asks if they should go to his room, but Portia says she wants to sleep. He walks Portia up to his room. A man in the pool can’t stop staring at them. Dominic can’t help but keep staring at women in the hotel. He’s upset and goes back to his room, and so does Tanya.

Harper asks Daphne if Cameron cheats on her. Daphne says she only knows he cheated on her once. But she doesn’t want Harper to worry as she does whatever she wants. Harper asks how she handles it. Daphne says that she’s not a victim. Cameron, Ethan, Mia, and Lucia have drinks together. They go inside the pool, where Cameron kisses Lucia.
They all return to the hotel room, and Mia starts kissing Ethan. He tells Mia to stop and watches Cameron have sex with Lucia. Harper calls Ethan on his phone, but he doesn’t pick up.
The White Lotus Season 2 Episode 3 Review: Final Thoughts
Well, The White Lotus Season 2 Episode 3 showed the darker side of several characters. Daphne isn’t dumb, and Harper is worried about her marriage. Cameron, as expected, is disloyal to his wife and fools around with women. Tanya is back to being sad and has now ruined Portia’s love life but putting the scary thought in her mind about men.
Dominic isn’t happy that his father knows about his night shenanigans and his son’s opinion of him. The manager is frustrated with the guests. The episode was quite good and has pushed the plot to cause more drama and issues in the upcoming episode.
