The Golden Spoon Episodes 13 and 14 Review

This Kdrama has definitely saved the best for the last as its second from last weekend comes with a surprise that has changed the game completely. Let’s begin with Hwang Hyun-do, or should we call him Gwon Yohan?

Hyun-do has to be one of the biggest surprises this week and while there were speculations about him being one of the golden spoon users, this week was a confirmation and there is no doubt that we are loving this. But what surprised me most has to be the fact that Hyun-do is aware of what Seung-cheon has done.

On the other hand, Ju-hee has shown us how pure her love is that she is able to notice who Seung-cheon is. However, I do have my share of complaints when she tells Seung-cheon to give up on everything and come back. She has no idea about his struggles for the past 10 years, and if Seung-cheon is selfish at this point then I don’t mind supporting him.

The scars on his back speak louder and I have to say, at the end of the day it was Yeo-jin who was there and this girl deserves more. But, when it comes to relationships, then I still support Seung-cheon and Ju-hee, but I hope that she understands him more.

Now, moving on to episode 14 where I cannot help but say that it was quite predictable that something major was going to happen to Lee Cheol. The guy was set to go through some big damage with all the tension and heartbreak he was going through.

Now, I just feel like Seung-cheon is going to be moved emotionally and go back to his life as Lee Seung-cheon, but not without a fight.

Let us know what you think about this week’s episodes in the comments below!
