The Mole is a reality game show on Netflix, where twelve players work together in challenges to add money to a pot that only one of them will win at the end. Among the players is one person who has secretly been designated “the Mole” and tasked with sabotaging the group’s money-making efforts.
The players compete in mental and physical challenges in an attempt to win money to add to a prize pot. If the players complete their challenge, they win the full prize pot. However, the saboteur will try to chip away at that prize money one challenge at a time. After each set of challenges, the players take a quiz that tests whether they know the identity of the Mole.
The person who answers the fewest questions correctly gets eliminated. One at a time, each player is randomly sent their results individually via text message. If the screen on their phone goes green, they’re safe. But if it’s red, they’re immediately eliminated from the game.

Who are the Remaining Players in The Mole?
In the first five episodes, we saw Osei White, Samara Joy, Dom Gabriel and Sandy Ronquillo get eliminated in this respective manner. At the start of episode 6, they take the quiz again, where Pranav Patel got eliminated as he chose the wrong answers, based on his suspicion of Avory. The next early morning the remaining players are taken on a high-stakes climb through the Blue Mountains. It pushes the players physically and mentally.
Before the assignment, the Mole selected three candidates’ backpacks to place $10,000 in. The group must complete a mountaineering course through the Blue Mountains, which includes abseiling down a cliff face, scaling a rock and pulling themselves across a tightrope. However, at various stages of the course, including the start, the group must select a total of four candidates not to continue the course.
This means they cannot proceed to the finish with their backpack, although they can still communicate with the group via a two-way radio. For each backpack that contains $10,000 to reach the end of the course within two hours, the money inside is added to the pot. In the end, Joi, Jacob and Casey end up at the finish line.

Two backpacks, of Joi and Casey containing money, reached the finish meaning $20,000 was earned for the pot. And suspicions about Jacob were raised since he insisted on having the money, whereas the third bundle of money was in Kesi’s bag. Soon after, the group are chained together in an empty building. Every ten minutes, a cage opens, and one candidate can take the key inside and unlock themselves from the chain each time.
If all seven candidates unlock themselves, then $20,000 is added to the pot. However, next to the key is also an exemption; if any player takes the exemption, they claim it for themselves, no money is earned, and any candidates still chained must spend the night in the building. Kesi took the exemption, claiming it for herself, meaning no money was earned for the pot.

After spending a day in the cold warehouse, they take the quiz again, the next morning, and Casey gets eliminated from the show. Moving on to Sydney, the contestants are presented with two paintings: one genuine painting on display at a gallery and one painted by the Mole. Each candidate individually guesses which painting is fake and each candidate who correctly guesses has the chance to win an exemption.

Candidates who correctly guess the fake painting (Avori, Jacob & Joi) are individually taken to three separate locations. Two of them undergo unique experiences: walking on hot coals and holding a snake, while the other does nothing and must later lie about it to try and deceive the three candidates who guessed incorrectly.
If they correctly guess who is lying about their experience, $20,000 is added to the pot; otherwise, the three candidates who correctly guessed the fake painting all win exemptions. Greg, Kesi & William correctly guessed that Jacob was lying, meaning $20,000 was earned for the pot and the exemptions were not claimed.
This leads to the eighth episode and another elimination where Greg gets eliminated from the show and the remaining group is tasked with finding Avory, who is locked away in a place, and through the clues, the others have to find her before time runs out. However, the two teams couldn’t reach on time and lost the challenge money, leaving them with $69,500 in the pot.
The episode ends with another quiz elimination between Joi, Avory, Kesi, Will and Jacob. Out of these five contestants, one will be eliminated in the ninth episode and the other four will move on to the Finale.

In the trailer for episode 9 it shows the final game and you hear Jacob’s voice as a player saying “come on”. I would say then that Joi is eliminated.
