Rainbow: When is the New Age ‘Wizard of Oz’ Spanish Adaptation Releasing? Trailer and More

Loosely inspired by L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Rainbow has been directed by Paco Leon and will be released on Netflix this week. “This is not a movie. It’s a trip”, says the trailer of the upcoming film and peers into the life of a teenager who sets out on an adventure.

It will weave modern theatrics and contemporary visuals into the storyline to make it a worthwhile experience for the present-day audience. Wizard of Oz has already received several adaptations over the years, with most of them tending to the original aspects of the novel. However, Leon’s rendition of this story incorporates in-vogue musical elements to this otherwise coming-of-age theme.
