The Playlist Trailer: The Swedish Entrepreneur Who Revolutionized the Music Industry

Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming biography drama The Playlist which will tell you the story of a young entrepreneur who changed the music industry surrounded by piracy. Directed by Per-Olav Sørensen, the Swedish series stars Edvin Endre, Gizem Erdogan, Ulf Stenberg, and Christian Hillborg, alongside other cast members.

The Playlist follows the story of young Swedish tech entrepreneur Daniel Ek and his partner Martin Lorentzon. They changed the piracy-filled music industry and brought the legal and easily accessible way of streaming music.

The show’s trailer gives us a peek at the man of the show walking onto the stage to own the night while on the way there we see glimpses of his past filled with challenges and negativity. While people called it an impossible task to make music free and called his tech incapable of competing in Silicon Valley, he did not stop.

As a voice says how they thought it is impossible to control music but someone changed this perspective of his. This voice is then followed by the introduction of the man walking on stage, the founder of Spotify- Daniel Ek.

And right then the scene shifts to the same man facing the screen as he says that’s not what really happened.

The simple yet exciting trailer has intrigued us with the story that changed our musical world forever and is one that is not to be missed. The man who really changed the world for every single one and monopolised the music industry. An app that pulls us all into this monopoly and is hard to miss.

The trailer has got us eagerly waiting for this 6 episodes biography that will tell us of the events that took place which eventually led to the revolution that changed the music industry.
