-Little Women Episode 2 Recap contains Spoilers-
Little Women episode 2 starts off with In-kyung telling In-joo about her suspension as well as her fear of turning out like their alcoholic father. In-joo tells her that she won’t turn out that way because she is very different from the man who ran away from home.

Elsewhere, In-hye is busy painting a portrait of Park Hyo-rin as she compliments her for her noble looks. But the feeling of want is clearly hinted in her voice. On the other hand, In-joo empties the kimchi boxes and fills them up with the money she had found in Hwa-young’s locker.
She then thinks about the reason why Hwa-young would have killed herself while having so much money when she realises that her death is not as simple as it looks. Elsewhere, In-kyung meets her grand-aunt according to the deal that the two have made for lending the former the money.

She tells In-kyung to get back to trading because of her innate talent that had impressed her years back. However, because she did not let her pursue Economics years back, she chose to become a reporter instead.
The next day, In-joo goes back to her company and decides to help them with investigating the case of the 7 billion won that Hwa-young hid somewhere. However, she puts forth the condition of changing jobs and having director Shin stop calling Hwa-young a thieving bitch before she is ready to join the search.

Later, she goes to Hwa-young’s house with Do-il to search around for clues on the slush fund and the ledger. She starts to tally up the stuff around the house while remembering her conversations with Hwa-young. She then finds out that Hwa-young has been living a double life this whole time.
At the company, she was a simple worker who would wear the same clothes each day but outside she was a rich woman living a lavish life while making frequent trips to Singapore. She also finds an alternate social media account which shows the places she had gone to and the life she lived.

Suddenly, director Shin comes by and asks about what she has found to which she shows the social media account. She then tells him the value of the things in this room but he makes it clear that his interests lie in the 7 billion won that have gone missing.
He then threatens her to not betray him or the company because the consequences will not be easy to bear. He wants to continue but soon notices a blue orchid in the room which scares him into cold sweats, as he quickly leaves the house.
On the other hand, In-kyung gets in contact with a family member of one of the suicide victims from four years back and is on her way to meet him with Jong-ho. On the way there she sees that there has been a car accident and after reaching the place they agreed to meet, she is left waiting for a long time.

Suddenly, she remembers the accident she saw on the way and rushes there with Jong-ho. Upon arriving at the intersection she confirms that this is the informant she was to meet which makes her speechless. Jong-ho on the other hand finds a blue orchid near the scene.
Later, In-joo wears the shoes given to her by Hwa-young to the shoe company’s store and asks a worker (Song Joong-ki) there about the person who bought them last year. He confirms that they were bought by director Kim which makes her suspicious about his role in Hwa-young’s death.

She even contacts her ex-colleague who had spread rumours about Hwa-young to ask her about the reason why she did that. She tells her that she is quite certain that there was something going on between her and director Shin and then points out at the latter has a type- that is an affection for women with cheap shoes.
Left speechless by the information that she has found till now, she goes to Do-il to try and connect the dots of the case with director Shin. The two are soon able to make the connection between the two and even introduce another victim who had a case similar to Hwa-young’s.

They find out that both women were connected to director Shin and that both were found wearing red heels at the time of their death. Shocked by this information, In-joo wants to report this to the police but Do-il is against it as this is not what he had come here for. His preference is the 70 billion won and nothing else.

She later tries to find some clues through the cameras in Hwa-young’s areas but is left with no luck. On the other hand, In-kyung tries to find out what really happened to her informant. The next day she goes to the informant’s funeral where his family members show their anger at her.
This is because she was connected to the suicide of their other family members four years back. She remains unbothered by this and stealthily leaves behind her card with a message for the informant’s brother.
Little Women Episode 2 Ending
Little Women episode 2 ends with In-kyung finding In-joo sitting on the floor at home and the latter telling her that she has quit her job. She then shares her worries about Hwa-young’s death and how the company is not supporting the investigation. But the topic soon ends when a package is delivered.

Upon opening the box, In-joo finds a pair of red heels which scares her because she is reminded that the two women who died were wearing the same pair when they were found dead.
Elsewhere, Hyo-rin receives the grand prize at a painting event for her self-portrait of herself which was originally done by In-hye. This is screened live and In-kyung notices the news which leaves her confused because she remembers In-hye painting this picture.

On the other hand, scared by the heels sent to her, In-joo goes to question director Shin and asks his meaning behind sending the pair. She then asks him if he is trying to replace her with Hwa-young to which he makes his relationship with Hwa-young clear.
He seems to be in a hurry at this time and ends the conversation by saying that he is going to a prosecutor to take the blame for embezzlement, fraud and so on. He then warns her to end this investigation with him because there is someone more powerful and above them that they should not touch.

He then leaves in his car but then suddenly notices that the car starts to accelerate on its own and the brakes aren’t working. He then sees the blue orchid placed inside his car and understands what is happening to him before his car runs through the railing and falls right onto the ground.
The sound shocks In-joo who then rushes to see what happened only to be left shocked and scared by the scene in front of her.
Little Women Episode 2 Review
The story is slowly picking up because the foundation has been laid and the three Oh sisters are all somehow connected with the rich and powerful family of Park Jae-sang.
Honestly, the blue orchid is really fascinating to me and I really want to know the person who is behind these conspiracies as well as the meaning of this flower that is being connected with the incidents.
Another point that I will add is that I guess the money left with In-joo has found a way to be whitewashed soon in the future and the key to this will most probably lie in the hands of In-kyung who has been revealed to be a talented investor. I wonder how this will turn out to be.
Altogether, the story has done quite well in the first week and I’m looking forward to the upcoming episodes.

The man referred to as director Kim here is director Shin.
I’m suspicious of Do-il, esp. b/c all he cares about is getting the 70M back.
