Selling the OC Twitter Reactions: Viewers Call Alex Hall a Big Bully, Praise Alexandra Jarvis-Alexandra Rose

Selling the OC is a reality TV series on Netflix, making waves since its release. It shows a fresh set of realtors square off, competing to establish themselves at The Oppenheim Group’s second office on the Orange County coast. It tests whether the pressure proves too much for these agents to handle as the Oppenheim Group expands to Orange County, where the team shows off lavish oceanfront listings and big personalities make waves.

The show features Jason Oppenheim, Brett Oppenheim, Alexandra Jarvis, Tyler Stanaland, Alexandra Rose, Polly Brindle, Gio Helou, Sean Palmieri, Kayla Carmona, Alex Hall, Austin Victoria, Brandi Marshall and Lauren Brito. There are 8 episodes in total with a runtime of about 40 minutes.

The series is said to be an addition to the hit Selling Sunset franchise. Thus, viewers are streaming the show to see the same level of content but are rather disappointed with the cast that does everything other than the work they are supposed to do.

Fans have criticized its cast members, especially Alex Hall and Polly Brindle, after the duo spoke ill about fellow cast members like Kayla Cardona and others. Many viewers were disappointed with Alex Hall’s behaviour and took to social media to express their feelings.

Some even commented on our review of the show that every single character on this show seems horrible to them. They are all just trying to bring the drama and none of it seems authentic. Another person tweeted that ‘This season proved to me how I shouldn’t trust my instincts cuz I thought Alex hall was giving Mary’s vibe and I couldn’t be more wrong seriously, what an adult baby I’ve never seen a more pitiful backstabbing bi*ch and don’t even get me started on Polly.’

According to popular opinion, the show is not relatable or inviting like Selling Sunset. Where they have come to know the characters over time. Know their stories and vulnerabilities, their strengths and weaknesses. But with Selling the OC, they feel like being in the dark or even a scripted world. Maybe it’ll change and get better over time but it’s definitely not off to a good start.

I love films, except maybe horror films.

  1. Selling OC is boring and sucks. Never should have aired. I did not find any of the characters interesting. Seeing Alex with his family was the only intriguing moment of all 8 boring episodes. The scenes where the Alex’s corner and try to confront Polly, Brandi, and ALex at different times were so scripted, pointless, and nonsensical. Selling Tampa and Selling SUnset can stay but OC has got to go or start over from scratch. Brandi’s character made absolutely zero sense.

  2. Am I the only one that see’s what Tyler just did? He flirts with everyone. Probably even leads them on. Once they get drunk, he can have his fun with zero blame. He knows he has all the privilege and can play the good boy without getting caught. Until he put his life on tv anyway. He legit just ran game on Rose and Jarvis on the yacht. He played the hero, and then threatened Rose and Jarvis’ reputation, but pulling the “my dad owns this town” mentality. He’s nobody special. That type of behavior is the norm. What goes around comes around bro. I feel bad for his wife. Hope she runs for the hills. She’s probably to good for him anyway. Him and Alex should be together.

  3. Shame on Jason and Brett for not handling the drama in the office! Most of the cast is acting like children and they should be squashing their behavior! If they want a successful business, run the office professionally. I have never disrespected characters on realityTV like I do Brandy, Alex Hall, Lauren, and Polly! Sorry I wasted my time!

  4. Terrible show, very disappointing. Selling the Sunset had some drama but it also had class. This show has no class and is just trashy. Jarvis and Rose and admirable ladies, who keep their cool regardless of what those backstabbing b*tches throw at them. They handle it very professionally. Alex Hall is the most disgusting character ever. She always starts the drama, manipulate others into doing what she wants, is a terrible friends to everyone else on the show and I can’t wait for them to watch season 1 and realize who she really is. Brandy is super disappointing, I thought she was somewhat ok in the beginning and then she just started acting like the rest of the mean girls crew. Polly is ridiculous. She seems unstable and can’t control her outbursts which are rarely caused by any real problems, most of the time she just creates a lot of noise out of nothing. The girl who always cries (Keyla?) … girl… you have no backbone or pride… Alex Hall betrayed you so many time.. it’s just cringy to watch how she keeps trying to be her friend… overall a super disappointing show with a lot of trashy people.. really takes away from the beautiful houses they show and a whole real estate topic that this show is supposed to focus on… this show is basically based in its entirety on cat fights and pitting women against each other and it’s just sad that we as society are still here for it and call it entertaining… Selling the Sunset had some drama but the focus was still on how women support each other and help each other grow. The ladies in that show fostered lifelong friendships and it was nice to watch. This show is just pure trash…. Really gave me the Jersey Shore vibes… weird that rich OC clients would want to have anything to do with a brokerage like that or associate their name with this mess…

  5. Alex Hall is a back stabber who wants to lead the pack and exclude people. Polly is a wanna be Christine, but she’s way worse. Her voice regardless of being English is so whiny! She stirs the pot. The two of them together are toxic. Kayla wants to fit in but doesn’t know which side to be on. At first I wasn’t sure about Gio and the two Alex’s but I actually like the three of them the best because they actually want to sell properties. All the rest are too wrapped up on their drama. This show doesn’t compare to Selling Sunset imo. Please get rid of Alex Hall & Polly – they start all the drama and are annoying. Gio, the two Alex’s proved they are where they belong selling luxury real estate. What have any of the rest done?

  6. Agree! All the hateful nonsense started because Rose snubbed Hall or did something silly she didn’t like and Hall spun out of control fueling her ego. Get over it! Forgive, grow and build each other, especially yourself. It’s 2022 not 1999.

  7. Alex Hall and Polly are the most annoying on the show. They are the bullies. Tyler is a little lap dog for the bully b!tches. Love Rose, Jarvis, and Gio. Great ending with the Alex’s selling 20 million dollar home and the jealous c$^ts were left speechless

  8. I was shocked at the drama and backstabbing of many of these women. Very low class behavior from someone selling double didget million dollar homes. Why would the customers want them representing their lovely homes.
