Big Mouth Overview
Big Mouth (빅마우스) is a crime-thriller-mystery Korean TV series directed by Oh Choong-hwan and stars Lee Jong-suk, Im Yoon-ah (Yoona), Kim Joo-hun, and Yang Kyung-won, alongside other cast members. The series takes over MBC’s Friday-Saturday 10 PM KST timeslot, previously occupied by Doctor Lawyer.
Big Mouth Kdrama revolves around Park Chang-ho, a below-average lawyer who gets embroiled in a conspiracy when his “big mouth” lands him in trouble. A murder case ends in him being called genius swindler Big Mouse, which results in him scrambling to clear his name and his life from the conspiracy and its results, with the help of his wife Ko Mi-ho.
Big Mouth Episode 7 Best Moments
Big Mouth episode 7 is filled to the brim with complicated situations and the idea of cause and effect – if you make a rash and thoughtless decision, the repercussions can be deadly. Chang-ho realises that a little too well and thanks to Ji-hoon not being able to take a hint, the episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving Chang-ho’s fate undecided.
But even before that, the episode had a lot going on – first and foremost, Chang-ho and Jerry’s fight and the latter coming to realise that his “Boss” isn’t who he claims to be. It is a moment of heartbreak for Jerry as well as a moment of heartbreak for us as he eventually stabs Chang-ho in the back. I, however, get it – he really didn’t have much of choice in the matter.
Anyway, with heightened expectations from the show, it is only fair for it to have several great moments. Here are our picks:
1. Chun-sik and Chang-ho work together to get to Jae-ho

Honestly, I was rather disappointed in the last episode when I saw that Chun-sik betrayed our protagonist. Regardless of whether or not he’s a criminal, I find Chun-sik to be a rather nice character who looks out for his own people. So when they revealed in this episode that this was all a ploy to get Jae-ho on their side, it was quite the good news. Plus, that short conversation between the two was rather sweet in a weird, threatening way.
2. Do-ha looks out for Mi-ho

Although, let’s be real, Mi-ho is too badass and doesn’t need anyone to look out for her. But, in that elevator, the mysterious attacker would probably have murdered her had it not been for the mayor to intervene. He not only chased after the guy, but he came back and took care of Mi-ho. Plus, am I the only one who is seeing sparks flying between the two? Kim Joo-hun and Yoona have incredible chemistry but I have a feeling that Mi-ho only has eyes for her husband. Also, Joo-hee wouldn’t be too happy about that crush!
3. Chang-ho looks through the footage to find Jerry

If secret cameras and mobiles were not enough, Chang-ho goes the extra mile to look through the footage while in the confession booth and finds Jerry in it. Before he combs through the entire footage, he jumps the gun and accuses Jerry of being Big Mouse or being an accomplice, an allegation that doesn’t go down with Jerry, who thought his Boss was Big Mouse the whole time.

It’s a great scene because you can see how much Jerry looks up to Chang-ho and believes him and when he realises that he’s being lied to the entire time, the light leaves his face.
4. Ji-hoon gets reminded of his place, again

As I had mentioned in a previous article, every time Ji-hoon gets told his place is a great moment. In episode 7, the Elder reminds not only Ji-hoon but all the brats that they have done nothing to act like they own Korea. It’s their parents’ hard work and dedication that has made Gucheon what it is in the present, and, in that regard, he is going to choose an heir to the kingdom.
The place reminding, however, comes later when Seung-tae reminds Ji-hoon that he should be aware of what is going on around him since the Elder is displeased with him losing money to Big Mouse. This, obviously, hurts Ji-hoon’s ego, and he decides to take drastic steps to right the wrong. I have a feeling it’s not going to go that well for him.
5. Chang-ho and Mi-ho in the hospital

Our HoHo couple don’t always have scenes together, but when they do, they break the internet with their sweet interactions. In episode 7, Mi-ho saves Chang-ho from sure death and treats her husband. The highlight is in the hospital room afterwards, wherein they are happy to be in each other’s company and share a hug. When Chang-ho asks his wife whether they will ever have a normal life after this, Mi-ho simply asks him to rest.
It’s a no-nonsense sweet moment between our leads that goes far to prove the understanding that they have, thanks to their long relationship.
Check out the series on Disney+ and on MBC.
