In the SOOP Friendcation ft BTS’ V and the Wooga Squad: When is it Releasing?

The Twitter account of In The SOOP has released the first official poster of In The SOOP: Friendcation that is set to feature the Wooga Squad. The squad consists of BTS’ V, Park Hyung-sik, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik and Peakboy, and the poster is an adorable picture of the four basking in the sun in comfy sweatsuits. Hybe entertainment’s reality show brings celebrities to the leisurely life of the forest that is away from the lights of the entertainment world.

The release date of In The SOOP: Friendaction is set to be on July 22, 2022, and fans are already eager to see the Wooga Squad spin-off of the show. The variety show under Hybe Entertainment has previously been very well received by fans who got to see the members of their favourite groups- BTS and SEVENTEEN on the show. The fans especially enjoyed the artists in their leisurely aura who seemed to enjoy the break that they got through this show. It was so popular that BTS even came back for a season 2 and even created the OST for the show.

Now, fans are once again excited to see none other than the well-known Wooga Squad on the show. As the friends of many years are taken on a journey where they shed away their celebrity persona, we witness the real personalities of this beloved group. The release of this news has already caught the attention of the various fan group and even got the show to start trending on Twitter. In The SOOP: Friendaction will be available to watch on JTBC network and can be streamed on Disney+ where it will be available two hours after the broadcast.

The credits for the squad are given to Park Seo-joon who befriended Park Hyung-shik and BTS’ V on the set of Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth and later introduced them to Choi Woo-shik and Peakboy. The group has maintained a very lovely friendship, often sending each other coffee trucks and supporting messages on their social media platforms. Even their interactions during various public events are a sight to see.
