The Boys Season 3 Episode 4: Which Superhero Dies?

The Boys Season 3 Episode 4 is now out on Amazon Prime Video. The superhero dark comedy series stars Antony Starr as Homelander, Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Erin Moriarty as Annie/Starlight, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Jessie Usher as A-Train, Chace Crawford as the Deep, and many others. In the new season, two new supes are introduced – Jason Ackles’ Soldier Boy and Miles Gaston Villanueva’s Supersonic.

In the previous episode, we saw Starlight trying to make Supersonic understand why he shouldn’t join the Seven. She tells him how deadly Homelander is. However, Supersonic doesn’t change his mind and joins the Seven. In The Boys Season 3 Episode 4, Supersonic finally learns how evil Homelander is. He teams up with Starlight to bring down the laser-eyed supe.

Sadly, Supersonic does one big mistake of trusting A-Train. SS tells A-Train about his and Starlight’s plan and assures him that they will help him. A-Train, who gets badly treated and ignored by Homelander most of the time, betrays Supersonic. He rats out to the Homelander about SS and Starlight’s plan.

An angry Homelander doesn’t think twice and kills Supersonic. He also warns Starlight of plotting against him. Antony Starr is brilliant in the scene as we see his character’s madness only worsening. With SS now gone, Starlight is all alone among the vultures. How will she deal with everything that’s happening at Vought? We will get the answers in the next episode.
