Movies Releasing on April 8: Fantastic Beasts 3, A Hero and More

Now that theatres are fully functional in India, a lot of movies have been released on the big screen in the past few days. The success of RRR proves that the audience is indeed looking forward to more exciting releases. We have listed down some new movies releasing on April 8, 2022, at the cinemas. The list isn’t long, but the films look interesting.

The coming Friday doesn’t have any Hindi release in theatres. But the wizarding world is making a comeback after a long time. India has a great Harry Potter fan following, and they have been waiting for Fantastic Beasts 3.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of the Dumbledore

The third film from the Fantastic Beasts universe is all set to make its way to the cinema halls on Friday. The film stars Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller and Dan Fogler. In the Harry Potter prequel, Mads Mikkelsen has replaced Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald.

The Lost City

Hollywood action-adventure comedy by director Nee Brothers is all set to release on April 8. The story is about a novelist who is on a quest to find a lost ancient city from her book. She has to save herself from a billionaire. The film stars Sandra Bullock, Daniel Radcliffe, Channing Tatum, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Patti Harrison.

A Hero
Renowned filmmaker Asghar Farhadi’s film A Hero is all set to release in India in cinemas. The film is about a man named Rahim who is in prison as he fails to repay the debt. It stars Amir Jadidi, Sarina Farhadi, Sahar Goldoost, Fereshteh Sadr Orafaee, and Mohsen Tanabandeh.

Meanwhile, on the OTT platform Netflix, Abhishek Bachchan’s Hindi Dasvi is scheduled to release on April 7, 2022.
