Rom-coms on Netflix are now getting sequels. We’ve already seen The Kissing Booth and To All the Boys franchise having 3 movies. Well, next is Tall Girl 2. It is the sequel of Netflix’s 2019 teen romantic comedy film Tall Girl. The 2019 film was directed by Nzingha Stewart an American director and filmmaker and starred an ensemble cast of talented actors. The film is described by Netflix as Charming and a Feel Good rom-com.
The story of Tall Girl was about a 16-year-old teenager Jodi Kreyman who is 6 ft tall. Being tall since her age was three she always felt insecure about her height. Her fellow students use to joke about it a lot. Also, she had a sister of an average height who is a beauty pageant winner which in school didn’t make things easy for her. But the film ends with an inspirational touch with Jodi finally getting her confidence back and never feeling insecure about her height again. Tall Girl 2 will now probably show her journey as the new Jodi.
