The Morning Show Season 2 Episode 4 Review Contains Mild Spoilers
It’s The Morning Show Season 2 Episode 4, but people in the show are still welcoming Alex Levy. Today, there was a Foo Fighters concert held for her return. Later, there’s a discussion going on about who will host the debate segment with some big, diverse guests on TMS.
Cory wants Alex to do it, Bradley thinks she should do it, and Daniel says he wants to do it. Stella is probably feeling like banging her head somewhere for sure because of all the drama. Yanko lands in trouble because of a remark he made in one of the episodes.
While the TMS is enjoying being the top trend because of Alex, Mitch and Paola are having a good time together. Yes, they’re working for her documentary, but I still don’t know the point of giving him attention. Cory has his drama going on with the boards regarding Fred, his position and saving Bradley’s job. Bradley is now dating Laura and has decided to forgive Cory.

Still from the show

In the summary above, I tried my best not to give away big spoilers. But that doesn’t mean the episode was good. I still don’t know what the makers are trying to do with all this build-up. They teased us with Alex Vs Bradley showdown, but nothing happened.
I know COVID-19 news will take time and hit out of nowhere like it did in real life. The makers just hinted at the racial discrimination in today’s episode. But it wasn’t impactful enough. I hope the topic is explored further, considering Alex’s behaviour towards Stella. Alex keeps saying she has worked on herself but oh my, she appears so problematic in today’s episode. From the last episode of the season first till now, I see now hardly any changes in the work culture of UBA.
The Morning Show Season 2 Episode 4 Review: Final Thoughts
I am not impressed with today’s episode. Nothing made me curious to know what twist the story will take further. But I am a big fan of season 1. So, I hope the makers get back on track and tell us what the current season is really going to focus on. It’s the fourth episode, and we have only got decent episodes, not brilliant ones yet. I hope the fifth one is better.
