When Dhruv said no to Ananya
Everyone was quite sure that Dhruv would say yes to Ananya’s proposal. Up until that point, both Ananya and Dhruv were sure of each other; they knew what they wanted and had been each other’s Number 1s. When Ananya tells him her heartfelt emotions, everyone in the room is almost sure that this will be a sure-shot deal. Unfortunately, Dhruv turns her down and tells her that he needs more time. He reiterates that he doesn’t want to break up with her, but he needs more time to understand her and their situation before making a commitment.
Shivam’s Sudden Exit
Shivam and Ananya’s relationship has been nothing but turbulent. Although it started off quite well, things began to go south soon after. When Shivam chooses to “hook up” with Ananya during a light-hearted game, Ananya takes it quite personally, and the relationship never recovers from there onwards. Regardless, Shivam still stayed as a part of the experiment until one day, the contestants went out on a date with their offline connections.
With only a handful of people left in the house, the show decides to get Shivam out of the game, considering he will never really be a choice for Ananya, and thus, his staying around simply wouldn’t make sense. When everyone comes back from the dates, they are left shocked and heartbroken at the sudden turn of events.
When Faisal came to the show as Ananya’s second online connection
Ananya’s short-term and disastrous connection with Shivam ends up in the latter going home earlier than expected and Ananya being left with only one connection instead of two. Thus, the show brought her second online connection, Faisal, to the show to shake keep things up not only for her but for the others as well. We were most certainly taken by surprise at the twist!

Although not out of left field, it was still extremely cringy. Their entire bickering was not only awkward for Sahib but for the audience as well.
Pratham proposing to Sifat in the last episode
Although the four contestant’s choices aren’t too shocking, everyone is left confused when Pratham proposes to Sifat in the last episode. He makes it clear, of course, that this is only to let everyone know that they want to explore the spark that they found through the experiment and isn’t as deep a connection as the others. Either way, Rannvijay looked genuinely shocked and it’s a totally valid reaction!
