Actress Kwon Na-ra, also known as Nara, was a former member of K-pop group Hello Venus and eventually, after the disbandment of the group, continued to work as an actress. The talented actress is not only a vision of beauty and grace, but she is also a powerhouse of emotions as she brings forth each and every character she plays to the forefront in wonderful ways.
Her latest drama, The Midnight Studio (야한 사진관), shows her portraying Han Bom opposite Joo Won. She plays a feisty lawyer who does not tolerate injustice of any kind and somehow comes in contact with Seo Ki-joo and gets into a partnership with him to take care of his mysterious photo studio that caters to the dead! The drama is expected to rouse emotions and its first two episodes have already been a heart-touching affair.

Following Na Yi-je, a prestigious doctor who has to quit his job after getting framed, the drama is a thrilling and well-paced affair that showcases him getting revenge by constantly outsmarting those who try to bring him down. The twists and turns form the heart of the story and the viewing experience and with a phenomenal and talented cast, it keeps you on the edge till the end.
Itaewon Class (2020)

Starring Park Seo-joon, Kim Da-mi, Yoo Jae-myung and Kwon Nara in lead roles, this drama is a little different from your usual fare. The series, following a young man’s revenge after being unfairly put behind bars by a rich chaebol who killed his father, is a thrilling affair more so because the protagonist is written with warmth and heart. He’s a go-getter who has a heart of gold and although you feel frustrated when he doesn’t take the easy way out, you are forced to respect his character. Following Park Sae-ro-yi is easy and natural and thus you feel compelled to watch him achieve his goals till the end. Plus, there are also a lot of moving pieces in the drama that we usually don’t get to watch in the Korean content scene.
Secret Royal Inspector (2020)

Starring Kim Myung-soo, Kwon Na-ra, Lee Yi-kyung, Lee Tae-hwan and Jo Soo-min in lead roles, this historical comedy-drama series that focuses on the life of Sung Yi-gyum as a secret royal inspector and follows different stories as he navigates life and love. The story is different from your typical fare in the subgenre and is a sweet and loveable watch that has moments of heightened emotions. The comedy moments are also well-done and make sense in the storyline as well. For those who are bored with heavy dramas and want something warm and fluffy, this is the perfect watch.
