5 Best Moments From Head Over Heels Kdrama
Episode 1: Seong-ah falls in love at first sight with Gyeon-woo

In the first episode itself, we see the electric chemistry and the taste of first love as shaman Seong-ah falls for Gyeon-woo, who walks into her temple upside down. Although initially mesmerised, she quickly realises that Gyeon-woo is walking into her temple not, well, normally and is left basolutely shocked. The moment is significant because it not only sets up the emotional and romantic core of the series, but it also showcases how perilous Gyeon-woo’s condition is. He has been followed by bad luck all his life, and Seong-ah might be the only person who can finally help him.
Episode 2: First hints of romance

Despite Seong-ah’s immediate love for Gyeon-woo, it’s clear that he couldn’t be the least bit bothered about her. When she meets him at school, he, of course, has no idea that Seong-ah is the shaman he met the other night. However, Seong-ah is immediately smitten, and her drive to save him gets even more intense. She clings to him despite his protests and doesn’t let him out of her sight. He hates it at first, but eventually starts to open up to her slowly, leading the way for a sweet and warm relationship to blossom.
Episode 3: Love wins!

Soon after his grandmother’s death, Gyeon-woo is left distraught and alone, with no one beside him. He starts to have suicidal thoughts, and Seong-ah spots the suicide spirit around him. She is immediately concerned and desperately tries to help him, but Gyeon-woo’s walls are too high. Thus, when one day he lets her into her heart, signified by him holding her hand after she is able to get rid of the spirit, it promises something healthy and hopeful awaiting the two in the future as they gaze into each other’s eyes on the school’s terrace.
Episode 7: Bong-su inhabits Gyeon-woo

As Seong-ah constantly tries to save Gyeon-woo from harm, he invariably walks into Yeom Hwa’s plot by entering the haunted building and is immediately possessed by the malignant spirit of Bong-su, whom Yeom Hwa wants to turn into an evil deity. Gyeon-woo is initially unaware of what happened to him, but soon realises that he has been linked to this evil entity when Bong-su becomes dominant whenever Seong-ah isn’t holding him.
Episode 9: Bong-su devours Gyeon-woo

As if possessing him wasn’t bad enough, Gyeon-woo forgets everything that he was warned about and sees blood, resulting in all of his senses being overtaken by Bong-su. Although he doesn’t let her know anything, Seong-ah is able to figure out that something is amiss and asks him point-blank where Gyeon-woo is.
He refuses to acknowledge the truth at first, telling her that he is Gyeon-woo, but soon realises that she will not back down, and tells her with a flat tone that he has devoured him. It left fans shocked because… where is Gyeon-woo now, then?! The truth comes out in the following episodes, but with a cliffhanger like that, one can assume that it got quite a few gasps!
Head Over Heels only has one episode left to give us answers to some pertinent questions, and one can only assume where we go from here. With General Dongcheon not there to protect her loved ones, will Seong-ah find her way back to Gyeon-woo? Let us know your thoughts about the series in the comments below!
