Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 13 is a fun affair with Tanmay Bhat, Danish Sait, Kusha Kapila, Sumukhi Suresh and Orhan Awatramani.
In the first half of the episode, Karan chats with Orry, who gives an inteersting and perplexing in sight into his life, discussing about his "minions", his devil-may-care attitude and what he actually does!
This section seemed odd and a little confusing. Regardless of the hype, it seemed weird to see Orry on the Koffee couch. Plus, every word that he says drips with priviledge which makes it an awkward and unnecessary affair.
We next get into the Koffee Awards with Tanmay Bhat, Danish Sait, Kusha Kapila and Sumukhi Suresh. The four comedians roast Karan and this season's episodes, and tell him that he has been trauma dumping this season.
However, everyone is thankful that the sex talk has gone down a bit. They also announce that Karan has talked over his guests a lot this season and that the tea hasn't been piping, in spite of Karan's constant rants about his loneleiness.
That being said, everyone congratulates him for Rocky Aur Ranii's success as well as KWK becoming a platform for discussing relatable topics this season. Kusha shares how Karan was there for her when she herself was going through tough times.
They then move on to the awards section and first up is the one that stood out this season, which Kajol and Rani's episode wins. In the Best Rapid Fire category, Saif Ali Khan and Ananya Panday win for their fun and witty comebacks.
Kajol and Rani's episode again wins the Best Episode category. but Deepika and Ranveer win the "Jury Award". Next, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone win the Best Performance Male and Female Awards respectively.
Finally, in a new category this season, Varun Dhawan wins the Best Koffee Burns for calling Karan 'Ghartode'. Everyone signs for feeling happy and satsified and Karan asks everyone to either love or hate the show but to not be indifferent to it!
