Crime-thriller-action film Hard Days just released on Netflix. It stars Go Ayano and Junichi Okada, who butt heads in this game of corruption and crime.
The film has its moments of gore and fight sequences and is saved by Ayano's very creepy portrayal of his character. However, apart from very small moments of shock, the movie provides very little else.
It has a runtime of 118 minutes and is directed by Michihito Fujii and written by Fujii and Kenya Hirata. It is the remake of the 2014 South Korean film 'A Hard Day'.
When an ex-cop tries to find the serial killer who is taking his "girls" off the streets one by one, the audience is given a thrilling and nerve-wracking story to witness. The acting is on-point as is the humour and there's enough gore for everyone to go see a Disney movie right after.
Famous in its own right, this Korean film will make you writhe in your seat as you watch a secret agent exacting some horrifying revenge on a disgusting serial killer. What sets it apart from the torture-porn genre is the pyshological aspect of it, which makes this gore fest a must-watch.
Another twisted ride that will leave you at the edge of your seat, this movie follows a detective and a woman who try to find a serial killer after the latter publishes an autobiography detailing the killings. The action sequences are just the icing on an already delicious cake!
A little less intense but a lot more fun, this crime action thriller film is funny, has great action sequences and has a very believable Ma Dong-seok giving some major Sylvester Stallon vibes!
With a breathtaking pace, well-rounded characters and sharp dialogues make this an intense watch. There is not a moment in this cat and mouse chase wherein you can find yourself finding respite, much to all of our delights!
