8+ Best Anime Series of 2023

2023 has been a good year for animes, with various genres releasing every few months to take our hearts and minds to a different sphere and keep us entertained.

Apart from the obvious big releases that have stolen all of our hearts, there are also some niche ones that have left a very significant impact on us.

Vinland Saga Season 2

The second season of Vinland Saga was not something we all expected. Rather than being heavy on action like the previous season, it was more philosophical and gave us a look inside Thorfinn’s psychology. This is honestly better than the first season as it shows Thorfinn’s mental and emotional growth really well.

Dr Stone: New World Parts I & II

Dr Stone released its 2nd season in 2 parts, and they both are equally enjoyable. In this season, you will see the journey of Senku and his friends from their land to the other side of the world. It is a trip to the New World about which no one knows.

Dark Desire

Maite Perroni stars in this thriller romance series which is high on adrenaline and sensuality. As a wild weekend becomes a part of her future, you will be left shocked at the complications that arise in every episode of the series.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End

This series is full of exciting action but also has a strong focus on character development as Frieren grapples with her past and uncertain future. It’s an introspective take on the classic fantasy adventure trope and is definitely worth checking out for fans of the Isekai genre!

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2

The new season of Jujutsu Kaisen was again the talk of the town the moment it dropped. This part will seriously shock you with many surprises, most notably because of the absence of one major character.

Oshi No Ko

The anime delves into the complexities of fame, family, and the pressure of living up to expectations. If you want a psychological anime that can fool you with its cute characters, this is your thing.
