The Sky is Pink is based on the true story of Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with severe combined immunodeficiency and pulmonary fibrosis. Directed by Shonali Bose, the film shows Aisha's and her parents' struggles and pains to ensure they save their daughter with the best treatment available. But nothing could be done, and the ending is extremely heartbreaking. TSIP stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf.

Ghajini

A remake of a Tamil film of the same name, the revenge drama stars Aamir Khan, Asin, Jiah Khan and Pradeep Rawat. It starts as a love story between a rich man and a girl who is unaware that the man is wealthy. Just when we think things are going well, a major tragedy strikes. The movie keeps hurting you till the end and has no happy ending.

Neerja

Directed by Ram Madhvani, the hijack drama is a biography of Neerja Bhanot, a head purser on the Pan Am Flight 73 in 1986. When the plane lands in Karachi, it gets hijacked by the terrorists. The movie succeeds in making us feel the fear of people on screen and breaks our hearts with Neerja's fate. Sonam Kapoor has given her career-best performance in which Shabana Azmi also shines and makes you cry.

Trapped

Imagine being trapped inside a room for days with no food, no water, no electricity and no one to talk to while your family and friends have no clue about your whereabouts. Vikramaditya Motwane's Trapped constantly makes you anxious when Shaurya, played by Rajkummar Rao, gets trapped in his new house. Every attempt he makes to get out fails terribly. Shaurya's situation causes major distress to the viewers.
