Uunchai Poster: Amitabh Bachchan Unveils His Character From Upcoming Adventure Drama

Megastar and vintage icon Big B shared the character poster for his next film Uunchai on his social media handles. The film will be directed by Sooraj R Barjatya and produced under the banner of Raj Shri productions. Moreover, the caption of the post read that the film celebrates life and friendship.

The upcoming Rajshri production stars Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani and Anupam Kher and is wrapped under the theme of an adventure drama. Earlier, the trio was featured in the first poster of the film, amidst the background of a snow-clad mount Everest. It also stars Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, and Sarika in pivotal roles.

The poster reveals the official look for Amitabh Bachchan in the film. He can be seen in a snow filled background depicting a mountain hike. Moreover, the context of friendship is regarded as the prime motivator for his characters, with the parallel of adventure in general.

The name of his character in the upcoming Sooraj R Barjatya film will be Amit Shrivastava, which is almost an ode to his birth name.

The story of the film revolves around three friends, who decide to go on a trek to the Base Camp Everest, irrespective of their age and physical health. The film explores the concept of zeal and enthusiasm, that burns the brightest in these three old time adventures.

Sharing the Instagram Post, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “This one from Rajshri is special. Meet me as Amit Shrivastava in Uunchai on 11.11.22 . This film by Sooraj Barjatya celebrates life and friendship. Save The Date for Unnchai the movie.”

Parineeti Chopra(Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Ishaqzaade) will also be part of the ensemble in the film. Furthemore, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen Ayan Mukherjee’s Brhamastra, playing a crucial role in the film. The epic fantasy drama was a blockbuster hit and surpassed more than 200 Crores on the box office.
