Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 7 reactions are out on Twitter now that the new episode has premiered. The Apple TV+ series has been developed by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly. It stars Sudeikis as Lasso, Hunt as Coach Beard, Hannah Waddhingham as Rebecca Welton, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, Phil Dunster as Jamie Tartt, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Nick Mohammed as Nathan Shelley, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, and Anthony Head as Rupert Mannion alongside others.
Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 7, titled ‘The Strings That Bind Us’, dropped on the streaming platform on April 26, 2023. Its official synopsis reads: “The Greyhounds try a new strategy that has everyone thinking outside the box. Sam prepares to host a VIP guest at Ola’s”
The new episode has Richmond learning about the Total Football strategy and, in turn, letting go of their baggage and moving forward to treading on a path of freedom, ‘the Lasso Way,’ and finally taking their first baby steps towards redemption against Arsenal. On the contrary, some actions lead to building rage in Sam’s case, as he faces the ravaging face of a hate crime. To offer him a softening embrace, thankfully, his father is by his side to teach him a warming lesson about life and encourage him.
Richmond’s match against Arsenal also allows Jamie to open up about his thoughts on the game plan and how his contributions would better shape up as a sacrifice for the rest of the team to score. On the relationship sphere otherwise, Keeley and Jack keep going strong, with the latter going rather stronger for Keeley to make sense of her “love-bombs”.

The most common reception for the new episode is that fans love how the show keeps depicting healthy father-son relationships – one through Ted and Henry and the other as seen in the case of Sam (Toheeb Jimoh) and his father. Returning to the original Roy-Keeley agenda, people ‘shipping’ the former couple, though they have found a soft corner for Jack and Keeley, still hope for the former pair to get back together before the season ends.
Going over to the other side of Richmond, the West Ham coach, Nathan Shelley’s story is also embraced from a humanised point of view this time instead of being seen as a straightforward or shallow villain of the show. Fans made it a point to appreciate this change-up and expressed their respect for the writers’ opinions on this front.

James Lance’s growing and transformative portrayal of his character Trent Crimm has shaped yet another loveable aspect of the series. Viewers have noted his growth since the first season and how he’s completely leaned into his softer innate personality after joining Ted’s squad. With the third season nearing its end gradually, the loyal watchers of the show are also picking up on any underlying hints that may be foreshadowing the finale.
