BTS’ Suga’s most-anticipated documentary, Road to D-Day is out along with his alter-ego Agust D’s new album D-Day. Produced by HYBE Media Studio and directed by Park Jun-soo, the documentary shows the artist’s struggles, his inspiration behind the tracks, his efforts and similar emotions to the crowd.
After his mixtapes Agust D and D-2, the first debut album D-Day consists of 10 tracks, each narrating a story. With the help of the documentary, fans got an insight into how much of effort Suga has put in and how his personal experiences helped him jot down the songs. In one of his tracks, he opens up about his traumatic experience regarding his mother’s surgery and this shows the vulnerable side of the big artist.
We also see Min Yoongi moving back and forth from Seoul to Tokyo to Las Vegas, where he gains more and more memories that inspired him to write his songs. It’s a beautiful artwork where Min Yoongi’s journey of inner peace and reality’s hardships are both focused on and eased by music.

Each song in the track has a painful story behind it, and each of them was shown to the audience through the documentary. After the release, many fans shared their thoughts on how the artist shed light on them by sharing a piece of his life which takes a lot of courage to do so.
