Shrinking Episode 6 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

In Shrinking Episode 6, things might go a bit out of hand for Jimmy as he continues to rely on his unorthodox therapy methods. And ignores the consequences of his unattended emotions. Moreover, the episode will also venture into Paul’s side of the revelation and introduce us to a new side of the aloof therapist.

Notably, the dramedy series is created by Bill Lawrence, Jason Segel and Brett Goldstein and features Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams as Gaby, Luke Tennie as Sean, Michael Urie as Brian, Lukita Maxwell as Alice, and Christa Miller as Liz.

In the next instalment of the comedy-drama series, we can expect Jimmy’s idea of treating his patients through a unique approach, to come to its near end. So far, the grief-ridden therapist has been trying to help his patients by implementing some weird and awkward sets of unsolicited suggestions. And even though some of it might have worked in his favour, there is no doubt about its eventual dead end.

Sean, the impulsive lad, who has been living with Jimmy for the past couple of episodes, finally received a worthy therapy session from Paul in episode 5. The grumpy one-liner specialist opened up to Sean about his Parkinsons, in order to reciprocate the vulnerability. Something which resulted in a positive outcome, as compared to Jimmy’s unusual methods.

Moreover, Sean is still on the recovering end of things and might need more time to open up completely. Therefore, the idea of an impulsive patient sharing a room with Jimmy and Alice is still not one that makes much sense. Based on my preconceived notions of the show, I am expecting grave collateral damage waiting to happen.

The last few frames of Shrinking Episode 5 gave us a glimpse of Paul interacting with his daughter. The no-nonsense therapist tried his best to convey his condition without being afraid of the repercussions.

Furthermore, based on this personal encounter, we can expect the series to dive further into the emotional aspects. Mostly, around Paul’s revelations, and Jimmy’s personal sets of bottled-up emotions.

Apart from all this, we can also expect Shrinking Episode 6 to venture into the affection angle between Sean and Alice. A side note of affection has been brewing up from the previous instalments. And even though Sean has been relatively unaware of Alice’s crush, the next episode might bring things out in the open. Whatever the case may be, the series will continue to impress us with its balanced humour and drama, along with some usual Harrison Ford one-liners.

  1. This show is amazing! Jason Segel is so talented!
He has written outstanding pieces of art for years. I hope
most people of his generation and mine can agree
that besides everything he has done in the past this
young man is a GREAT ACTOR. He goes toe to toe with
someone of Harrison Ford’s stature. Another wonderful actor who
people respect but don’t award. I hope both Jason and
Harrison get nominated for everything for this wonderful show.
I liked Ted Lasso but I Love Shrinking!!!!!
